I must say that the version 1.0 have odd font, I think they changed it becuse peopel maybe was complaining how hard it was to read? (the newer one is more boring but... yeah  )IPS not ISP. And it's not that hard... as long you have the right ROM. |

Wasn't the graphics in YI compressed? Or is the font gfx in uncompressed form? I know there is some uncompressed GFX but I thought it was mostly unused stuff...  |

| Hey, no problems about that You can rip exgfx by simply taking a snapshot of the game containing the graphics you want to rip, then save it as a 256-bitmap file. Open your tile editor (tlp or yy-chr, i use yy-chr coz, although its harder to use than tlp, it doesn't crash all the time as tlp does) and paste the snapshot (if u e using yy-chr, check 'old API' box and change the settings to SNES). Than creat a bin file for your exgfx and go separating the gfx you want to insert into your hack Then prepare the map16x16 by choosing the tiles at map8x8 and start fixing paletes (if necessary, correct the missing palletes in the tile editor since yy-chr don't reconize the paletes very well, and this you have to do manually) In the case of fonts you need to extract the gfx containig the fonts and exchange them for the YI ones after you ripped them, and insert the gfx back to the rom.
