Just spotted this in top British games magazine Edge. It's highly respected in games development circles...

I haven't seen FuSoYa in a while though, anyone seen him recently?

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I wonder if FuSoYa's seen that?

As for having seen FuSoYa around, I haven't for a loooong time....

holy crap, that's awesome. In America, no gaming magazine would DARE right an article on a rom hacking utility site. The big guns would be all over their ass in seconds. Good to know that UK is less strict about that stuff. Congrats on your big recognition, FuSoYa! Now come back and mod your forum every once in a while!

If I have any time, I'll submit a list of people's hacks to Edge... They might appreciate it...

I guess it's good for ROM hacking to get in the news, and a bit of exposure, too

Who wants to bet Fu's site gets a ton of more hits in the next couple of hits.

Yeah... America would be all over anyone who publicisized this..... More loss for them.

Oh and... 3 cheers for fu-so-ya!

Actually, this is the second such event... About two years ago, you could find one of Elmo's letters in a games mag

Acmlm's is indirectly becoming famous on the other side of the Atlantic (other side from us, that is)! Now all we need is for Milly to be mentioned in a Japanese mag, a Canadian mag, and a British mag, and then this place will be world-famous!

Oh yea, and in response to Kirby:

Hip hip, hooray for FuSoYa!

FuSoYa made it into a magazine! w00t! Congrats, pal!

The best thing is he's being recognized for Lunar Magic. The best editor out there is finally recieving major recognition!

Reminds me of the old emulation/rom-hacking article that appeared in EGM a few years ago.

They took him away after they read the article. You know, them.

Toxic: I did too. They called me a valued customer and warned me my NP subscription was almost up. How nice of them to do that just for me.

If I recall correctly, a screenshot of Strange Mario Bros. appeared in some big-name magazine a few years ago.

The closest I've got to fame is having SMB2: Christmas Edition ripped apart by the wonderful folks at i-mockery.com...

Nice Mario World hacking did get pretty advanced ... Lunar Magic 1.0 was already great, and just kept getting better with each new version, and the hacks are quite impressive now (although I should really play them ), so it does deserve to be talked about

Yep, EGM ... it had a few pages about ROM hacking and translations, and it mentioned Challenge Games at the top of one page, with a screenshot from Strange Mario Bros and Metroid Challenge ...

I think that was in 2000, I remember I mentioned it on my site at the time

Excellent! Not only did FuSoYa get mentioned in Edge, but... wow.

Great victory for rom hacking/emulation.
