I have a friend that needs help and I dont know what to do, so I am going to ask if anyone here would know what to do in this type of situation.

She went out with a guy for 3 months, he started telling her that since they were going out she should be having sex with him because he owed it to her. She said no, but he started to threaten her. 4 times he did that. She broke up with him, and now he wont quit threatening her and her family. She keeps going back because she is scared. She knows if she breaks it off and stays away, something will happen. It is an older guy. She is scared and doesn't know what to do. Can someone give some advice?

Police are the best option here, just go over to her house just so shes not alone, and call the police and fill them in. It's a pretty big crime to threaten the life of another expecially in canada, this also falls understalking....2 offences, that guys in crap!!! But best way to do it, is as her side so she doesnt become totally afraid or worry to much!

If she has been threatened that much, contact the police immediately. No question. Nobody should have to put up with that bullshit.

Be careful about how you go about this as well. Restraining orders don't do a damn thing if the person is psycho enough.

But your friend did well in not giving in to his demands. A girlfriend (or boyfriend) doesn't owe anybody anything. It was her right to say no and that's very respectable.

Just tell her to take it easy and be careful. It sounds like a pretty bad situation. Make sure that she's never alone no matter where she goes. And yes, I would highly advise letting to police know the situation. They no doubt have better advice to give you than what we can.
