| Bah, asprin's right, as per usual. Nerds make fun of preps as much as the reverse, this thread is a prime example. The difference is that "nerd" is a division including intelligent people and those who can't socially adapt. Preppy folks either are too dumb to care (or remember, or whatever) what the nerds think or (and like it or not, this is the more common of the two) know how to laugh it off. I'd make a long rant about how these distinctions between people are fully artificial, but I'm tired and you nerd-dork-punk-goth-wannabe-emo-jock-prep-metalhead-grunge- proletariate-borgeousie-noble-commoner-patrician-plebian -technophile-geeks probably wouldn't understand it anyway.
