It took me forever to get my server back on the net. Last time it was up was months ago when we turned off out net. Two weeks after that I decided I couldn't go without the net, and turned it back on. The server never worked the same. Kept going down frequently. few days ago I sat down and tracked it back to the power supply, got a new power suppyl hooked up and it's working again. so my sig is back!!!

I want to re-install the OS later to get rid of Active Directory on it... too damn slow with that on it, for a simple web/file/db/print server

But that'll I'll do later. The best part being, 1) I can stick files on it for others to grab again (I hate peer 2 peer transfers) and 2) It had the DB for my message board on it, so I can continue to play with that now (yes I still play with it off and on). I thought I had a 3rd reason, but I can't remember it now. I'll get back to you on that one.....

OH, I remember now, lol. one of the things I got when I got our net hooked back up was a speed upgrade. The download speed is around the same, but my upload speed jumped, and is around 4 times faster if I remember correctly.

2mbit upload, yum.

Actually, I've had this sig for a long time now. The one before it was a simple dark color background color but with a header that was taken from LttP. The header was the view of Death Mountin seen from the Pyramid. Is this the one you are refering to??
