but Planet X was supposedly spotted several years ago and was dismissed as a blind spot, because the image came in a a dark spot from looking at another star, if i remember correctly there is no 10th planet.....for that matter there is no 9th, They announced pluto as a large asteroid years ago..it's no longer considered a planet.

You sure? I'm pretty sure I saw something about Planet X a few months ago... about how it is slowly coming closer into the orbit range of our solar system.

if it was already in orbit around the sun....it wouldent be comeing closer to orbit, it's possible it has an oval orbit but that means an outside force that we havent detected yet is pulling on it.

I trully cant remember Planet X, lol...it's kinda annoying me...

There are a lot of planets in the solar system, but since they are as big as Pluto, they consider them asteroids.

I didnt know there were other large body's with a form of atmosphere in our solar system?!?!? You got a link to any pics, names, or idea on locations??

I think I've heard of the other small planets in our solar system, but nobody has really gone into detail about them that I currently know of.

cool, i did not know there are smaller planets, well bodies or rock that can be defiened as planets....I know alot of Jupiter's moons could be considered planets.....if they didnt orbit Jupiter.

I just find it cool that alot of Gene Rodinberry's predictions on the future are comeing true....starting with the auto-matic opening door....that one blew me away!!

But i find this new piece of technology to be interesting:
http://www.io2technology.com/dojo/168/v.jsp

Back to space....
i got a question that no one i have asked seems to be able to give a straight answer...

Light travels at a constant speed yes...and there is a Universal Gravitational pull...So the stars we see in the night sky that thier light takes hundreds of years to sometimes reach us....They wouldent be in the location that we see them? would they? Because with the Universal Pull, and planetary drift and intersteller drift the planets....everything is in constant motion...So doesnt it sound to reason that the stars we seeing might not even be in that location, for that matter even there anymore?

Because if our sun were to go Nova it would take around 7 minutes for us to see the effects because of the speed that light travels....i Just wondered about that wuestion and everyone evaids it.....

But there speed should never change. Who knows? Maybe nobody knows where anythings at. But I think they probably calculated the light years in so they can get the actual position. Nobodys given you a straight answer most likely because they don't know. You can probably talk to a science teacher and then get an e-mail address from an astrominer from him/her. They should be able to give a straight(er) answer.

I just think that pre calculate the light years in. But to tell you the truth, I don't know if they do or don't.

i believe your correct kallias, and subliminal, planet X (nibiru) was supposed to come back and hit us last spring. also while looking at a site about planet X they claimed it was supposed to be the 12th plannet, anyone know what the 10th and 11th are supposed to be

Neberu...and the return of Jesus was supposed to happen at new years 2000, then they said 2001....then 2003. Now they aid they have re-done the calculations and it's supposed to be August 2012....lol we'll see if they get it right that time..

Light years is the distance light can travel in a year...And it will be a long, LONG, time before we know the actual positions of stars...and if they really are stars. Over the past 9 years of looking at these stars we have determained that 3 we have looked are are actually planet that are just reflecting light from other stars....we need warp drive.....lol. And no not planets with life...planets more likely like Venus or Jupiter, heavily made up of gases.

"Planet X" was the original name of Pluto.

Such a severe elongated orbit sounds very unlikely to me. As with planet formation, any bodies that orbit wildly in the solar system would've been smashed up by now. This is how the inner planets formed.

Pluto was in dispute as a planet because of it's size a few years back, until it was realised that it was a very large member of a group of bodies at the far edge of the solar system named the Kuiper Belt.

It has become very important in the past decade because scientists believe that Pluto is a prototype of the ice giants, Uranus and Neptune. Seeing as these planets cannot be created using existing theories in computerised models, it is believed that Pluto holds the key to unlocking their secrets.

However, such a world shattering collision is still possible. There is debris all over the solar system, but nothing on the scale of a planet. If a comet were to hit the Earth, nobody would survive. It certainly is possible, and it has happened numerous times in the past.

and consider that year 2000 isn't exactly 2000 years after Jesus birth. According to some people...

Yes...light travels fast...

But as little off topic but also follow this science theme, A friend is haveing a debate with me and wanted me to post this question in a few forums....

"If we did have a matter transporter that could trasnport a lifeform like a human....would have memories of the transport?"

My answer is HELL NO....First off to even begin a transport like that you would need to be put into a stasus that for your molecules stop moveing so fast....The you are literally ripped apart piece by piece...in the sense your not technically alive!!!...then you put back together on the other side....

He says i am an idiot....lol, good thing i own a sword shop!

well if your werent in stasis, wouldnt all the links to your brain be severed before they were re attatched so you coudnt recieve messages from nerves in your eyes and other nerves for the rest of your body, so my answer would be no you wouldnt remember it

You know what stops your molecules from moving? Cryogenic stasis.

And as for your conversations about the Christ Theory of Return. Jesus, if he does return, will be after the 7 year reign of the anti-Christ. So, you're looking at around 2013 or 2014.
