| The progress on my hack (Mario is Missing 2) is doing great. Once I figure out how to show pics on here and how to send my ips demo of the game here, it will be posted here, so look out for it. It will be a fun hack for the Acmlm's Board ages to come. Day 2: The Champ is here. Still working dillgentily(spell check) on my hack. By popular request, I have changed my cave BG into the pic above untill I figure out something else. Info. is still needed. I have to change the status bar name before I present my demo. I changed the color of luigi on the map (Thanx cpubasic13). In "Luigis Adventure" the name was changed, so it is possible. Help me fans !! More info.,More thoughts, More ideas, more, more, more. For Luigi fans everywhere, lets make this at least a decent hack. Day 3:The Champ is pissed. I just got dissed in the PKMN hacking forum. I came to this forum thinking I can make a difference, some agreed, some don't. But I'm not giving up, I AM going to finish this game AND my pokemon hacks and present them HERE, no matter what ANYONE says. If anyones still interested, I changed the title screen: Once I learn how to change Mario name to Luigi on the status bar, I'll present the demo. | I sure hope so. Also, I would rename it. Mario is Missing kinda sucks and having it be tied to your hack will lead people to link it to the tragedy that was Mario is Missing, even if it is on a very low level which will cause no end of trouble. | |||

Sounds somewhat like my plot. Except mine is Luigi is missing Thats not the name of it, but that is the MAIN plot. I have a few mini plots along the way too.For mine, the intro is something like, welcome to SSW, luigi has gone missing he helped find you now you have to return the favor. I have started an into screen, which I will not give details, but it hopefully looks really good To stay on topic, you should sign up at Photo Bucket and you can upload your pictures there. Then when you post click on the little picture of a mountain and a sun (where you can make your text bold, italic, and add smilies). That will make an [ img ]. Then you paste the URL of your picture after that and click the mountain again. Quite easy Hope to see some screens soonEdit: Fixed photbucket link. | To the screens, use photobucket, as keikoniunm said For the ips, use either one of those free web servers, for example geocies and freewebs, make a site for you and upload your files there. And let the world enjoy the glory of your hack  |

| The Champ is back, and I figured out how to post photos. There not much, but here's a sample: I'm still working on the title, but i'll take suggestions. I'm working on this boring overworld too, but if anyone knows how to change the color of Mario to Luigi, I will credit them on my game. I Promise. One of my secret powerup areas. fufufufufu..... Another one of my powerup areas that's hard to find. To make this game a good hack from the garbage Nintendo sold as "Mario is Missing 1", I need help from my ever growing fans. If you can get me this info. they will be credited in my game. Count on it: 1. Change the color of Mario into Luigi (Main problem) 2. Change the status bar name from Mario into Luigi (I don't think you can edit the "Mario Start"part can I ???) 3. Show me step by step how to rip backgrounds from games, mainly from the DKC series 4. More suggestions on stages. A player won't play a game they don't like.(Learned the hard way from Zelda Classic...) So please fans, help the best way you can with info.. It will be appreaciated. | The people (one) has spoken. Here are my replies: 1st: The mountains should be a dark color, not a bright color. It doesn't look good bright. I assumed you're talking about the title screen. Well, for some reason , I can't change the color of the mountians. It shows up with the right color on LM, but when I play the game, it shows up like above. I'll just change the background entirely. Thanx for the tip. 2nd: To change the palette of Mario, edit palette A. For the second player (which there shouldn't be any in this hack...) edit palette B. You will be credited in my game for this info. Mr. cpubasic13. But there is a Player 2 in this game....... 4th: Why the grey cement blocks for the ground? Why not normal ground? Because the normal ground has a weird black color when using the ocean BG.tpl, so I had to improvise the best I can. 5th: Background a little weird... that ExGFX should be a foreground anyway... 6th: Same. I need a better underground background, I know. Thats why I need to learn how to rip backgrounds from games. 7th: BG palette weird. You can't have 3 small Yoshi's in a level. When one goes big, his head will be weird. I am aware of this. Thats why it's a walk-in-get-what-you-want-and-leave stage. Like the top secret area in SMW. Like all great games this is only the beta part. As I learn more, the game gets better. With everyones help it can be the best. Thats all I can say for now. |

| Is player 2 Waluigi!! That would be awesome! 1. I agree with CPU, the mountains need to be darker. To do this open up level C5 (or C7) in LM and click on the colored star. Edit the mountain palette and make sure you hit SAVE. 2. Xatu Island is an awesome name! The OW is somewhat squarish and there is a liitle hill on the middle right of the island that looks odd, its to far over right. 3. Looks good except for the bird. Thtas the info box right? 4. It wont show up on my computer  5. Glitchy Looking 6. Glitchy Looking 7. Background looks good except the sky. 8. Looks good Looks like a worth while hack, especially considering this was your first one |

| You have to fix some of the glitched-like gfx, like in that BG w/ crystals in squarish between the walls. Other than that, all nice. |

| If you really insist on those cave BGs the at least put the chrystals on the FG. Just set the block acts like setting to 25 so its as if its not there. You will still see it, but the player wont interact with it. Also, in the next levels you make, you will not want to have blackness around a tile in the BG if its got other tiles near it, like the chrystal. Also try and make it even. Like tile the BG like bricks and it will look 100% better |

The overworld is in the original style. The backgrounds of YI and the new backgrounds cause a good impression of the hack. But, I have a question to you. The moon item, up from green yoshi, its a normal item or comes from the background? Anyway, if is just a normal item, I think you can put other in the background  |
