As for all the comments like this:
Glad some one is actually getting to it around here

Well congratulations for finally getting off of your butts to do this.
I have been waiting to get around to it for years - literally! I just lacked ftp access and a recent copy of the code. There's no point in working on 1.9 code if we run 1.92. If you should blame anyone for this having taken so long it should be Acmlm - ErkDog has been a great sport about helping out and setting things up when we finally agreed to do this without Acmlm. After all, Acmlm has allowed it in the past and hasn't directly overridden it.

Surulent - http://projects.fiftypounds.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0075
PM Notifications - http://projects.fiftypounds.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0077
As far as Sent PM it doesn't need to be that way, it leaves us no way of tracking PM Abuse.... the PM's are only stored in the Database ONCE, so the recepient can delete it upon their leisure.... make sure your PM is okay before you hit send

I like how you guys all thank Jesper, lol
I provide the Mantis site, and all the development stuff AND CVS AND I write code, etc... etc.....

Notice how I didn't just single out one person. But at the same time I think people are just happy stuff's being done.

But he never told you it wasn't OK...

I'd really like to see a "thumbs up" or something from Acmlm regardless... you know, just so you guys don't have to worry about anything and can tweak as you see fit.

well sure he could Colleen, but at this point, he would now have to get on board with the development project itself, we don't want to be doing something Acmlm is already doing, and Acmlm needs to work off the development site codebase....

If he coded something at home and then uploaded those files he'd obviously overwrite what we had done....

he could code stuff at home.. when he gets whatever working like he wants... then he can simply downlaod the dev code modify his cod ein then reupload.... but then he's also working off a potentially old database structure, considering me and Jesper have already made addtions and changes.

on a seperate note

http://projects.fiftypounds.com/view_all_bug_page.php

me and jesper need to get cracking, hahah things are already piling up !!!! lol

All the images are on my server ready to download. As is the SQL needed to assign them to the database. If anyone is interested in adding them with the next build, just PM me

Hmmm... Jesper, with the examples of the Javascript stuff, are the pictures we are seeing reflective of any colour schemes we can expect?

Semi-transparent white? Not really - I just used that because it's not pasty white but provides good contrast with the in general dark icons (as the other themes with 'button colors' do). Just checked the menus though and that looks like it could be more opaque with the white text below in the edit box.

Quick question.... Will there ever be a plan to release this at all anytime soon? And when I say soon I dont mean 3 years. I am just wondering if this will be available for users to use on there site.

And everything is starting to look good. Both Jesper and Erk did a lot of work. Hope to see some more kickass stuff guys.

Not sure if a pop-up window for PM's is really feasible, especially with pop-up stoppers and all.

Maybe a notification on a page you're loading saying that you've just received a PM, but they're easy to check anyways.

Pardon me for being a week late but I had an idea. Make custom board schemes. It'd work really simply, just add a field for a CSS file. Enter a file location and the board spits out a simple, plain layout that references the specified file, giving it whatever look you want.
If you don't want to add another field, you could just make plain schemes, one per OS, that reference specific local files. The windows one could point to 'file://c:/acmlm.css', a Linux version would load one from /root or something. The problem with that, though, is if your HD isn't drive C, but I imagine most peoples' is.

The layout previewer is kickass, but there's one problem... whenever anything changes, it removes the line of dashes before the signature, giving `(Sample text)sig stuff here` like what is all ugly and stuff. Even though it doesn't really run them together like that when you change it. It's mildly disconcerting when it looks like it's going to.

(i didn't bother to check if this was javascript or reloading from the server, but if it's javascript, my browser will be important, so here it is: firefox 1.9.3)

HyperHacker there is a custom scheme feature available. Erks version has it. Why it may seem nice it also may be a bad idea. If everyone created a scheme we would have a list that goes on. The code was originally made by Ogre but it has been updated to work with 1.9.

I think of "custom scheme" as meaning you would set it for yourself, and yourself alone.
