Of course I voted DDR. I love the CV series and all, but DDR has the greatest amount of replay value (been playing for 7 months straight now, if that's any indication ).

Konami is so awesome... I had the most difficult time picking one. I am a SUPER fan of DDR, but I also love the Mystical Ninja / Ganbare Goemon series! In the end, I picked Goemon... but... if I could pick two I would pick DDR as well!

In any case, why is "Gradius" strangely inserted into the title of this poll? Subliminal message?

*goes back to playing Konami Krazy Racers on his GBA SP* (<- Was seriously doing this when I saw this thread. No joke! )

SoTN > DDR.

Then again Pop'n Music > Both of those....

Well, not really owns SoTN... that's pretty damn hard to top. But pop'n music still owns.

Yeah! Pop'n Music is an awesome series! A few years ago I bought the special Pop'n Controller just to have that authentic playing feel.

My favorite in the Pop'n Music Series has to be Pop'n Music Animelo... it has song from all kinds of anime. Most that people other than me would not recognize.

Castlevania.

Granted, Konami has a HUGE lineup of kick-ass games, but I love both the action-based and adventure-based CV games. So much variety and a good challenge too.

The DDR series is awesome, but I don't think anything can top Symphony of the Night. Of course, its "gothic Super Metroid with RPG elements and well-balanced difficulty curve" gameplay rocks, the insane variety of item drops to collect makes you want to farm enemies just to catch 'em all, and great graphics and a phenomenal soundtrack never hurt, either. But one wonderful aspect of SOTN that I rarely see mentioned is that it allows you to drastically change your gaming experience in interesting ways. You can play through as Richter, who has some nifty and useful moves but none of Alucard's toys. You can use the 99 luck code for crappy starting stats other than luck, which provides a fun challenge for people who are familiar with the game. You can acquire items (Crissaegrims, Rings of Varda, a Duplicator) that basically put you in god mode so you can just run around mindlessly and beat the shit out of anything. That's always fun...

Mystical Ninja. The music is awesome, like the Oedo ghost music in the SNES Mystical Ninja and the song when Goemon first enters Impact in the N64 game.

I agree that castlevania is greater than life. except for small things like in the first one dieing when you fall off stairs but living when you fall down a 40 foot pit you know little things.
