| I tend to be a sucker for samurai anime, which I think can be blamed on my first anime being Kenshin and all that. Samurai 7 so far has a decent pace in action, story and character development, there are a few stereotypical characters, yet they get enough personality and depth to stand above just their stereotype, and the choreography in the fighting scenes has been pretty amazing at times. But the best part of this particular anime has to be the music. Which is awesome. Go get it. I swear, if I made a double thread again this time, I'm going to bash my head against the wall -.- I know Trunxy has seen some of it, but has anyone else? |

| That is a very good brief description of the anime so far. And yes, the characters are a tad cliched, but that's because they were based on (as you surely know)the characters from the Kurosawa film, The Seven Samurai. If you look at it, most of the characters from stories and anime afterwards those times usually fit the description of some samurai from Japanese film back then.(which obviusly carry on to today) | |||

| I've seen it, I love it. I never saw The Seven Samurai, but I do believe some of the characters are a bit cliched. I think it's kinda funny (a bit like seeing a ninja pirate) to see a robot samurai, but for some reason, Samurai 7 makes it work... | |||

It's a very nice anime, but waiting 2 weeks for 2 eps tends to get crappy.. and the end of each ep is equally crappy (I mean.. not BAD, but you want next ep  ). Overpowered Samurai + Futuristic = cool. |
