| oh, vid cap... anyways, who in Canada brought the Olympics? It is because of NBC's monopoly no video footage was released to any of the other major networks (including ESPN) in the US. |

| CBC had Olympic coverage on 4 networks - CBC, TSN, SRC (French CBC) and RDS (French TSN). As for news highlights, CTV and Global could only show still images. However, our local CTV news could show video as their sports highlights are partially done by TSN. |

Aw, we didn't see that on CBC...  Canada running around with our flag as usual, yes, but nothing that shocking.  Must have been to the pre-ceremony party. |
