Why wouldn't it be free?  One thing is sure, I won't install it right away. Why? Combitiality.  (spelling?) I heard that SP2 have some issusues with older programs. I want my programs to work after it's released. I probably just do some research first.  The last SP had some problems with certain computers I heard. So i'm little careful... |

The computer at work used to run on Windows 95 up until a few months ago...now it's on Windows 98.  |

| The XP SP 2 causes some compatability problems with software, since they change things ALOT .. it's more of an "Upgrade" than what a traditional service pack might entail.... You may consider holding off for a month or two to wait for various vendors to get fixes into their drivers and API's |
