| How do i access level C7 on the overworld editor. Ive opened up the level changing box but i cant set it so the first level is C7... i've got everything else i need to do it i.e. The "Chelsea" cheat and the ZSNES emulator. | Erm... Level C7 isnt a normal level. Its the intro level. Use another level (Like 105) to do the recording. AND THIS IS IN THE FAQ!!!! |

Yeah, I admit this is kinda experience question, because it's hard to find in the help manual... well, level C7 is t3h title screen level. But you can't use any level in SMW on the overworld. There are two enclosed level "banks", the one containing the 0xx and the other one the 1xx levels. And you can only use a lower subset of the banks on overworld level tiles, although I'm not sure how far it goes (no access to LM over here  ). I think it was 34h, though. Well, if you want to use that level elsewhere just copy it into a lower level number and use this one for playing.(later addition) @Banzai_Bill, sorry, I composed the post before your reply was here, but then my connection dropped. Edit: By the way, it says in the FAQ that you should copy it to a level accessable from the overworld. I've added this question to the FAQ anyway... | You can use any (accessible) level to do the recording, but if level C7 doesn't match up to the level on which you recorded, Mario's going to be doing some strange things. Remember, you're just recording movements, not level contents, etc. |

So just to be safe, I would use a level between 1-F (or whatever is a really low number of a level that can be placed on the Overworld.) I never read any FAQs for title screen movies. I always went to level C7, changed it to my needs and added in an enemy so mario would be killed. Then I could record my movie on level C7. I doubt anyone does this, but hey I do stuff the hard way . |

| Open LM and type -- Chelsea -- (just chelsea not the --). Open the OW editor and click file> chelseas bonus menu> tile moves recording (or something like that). This will instal an ASM fix, and allow you to record a video. Okay, now open up Zsnes and go to level 105. Go to where you want the video to start and save state. Now just play the level as normal, but DONT go down pipes, in doors, or finish the level, this will mess up the intro. Now when you get to where you want the video to end just savestate on the same state as you did before. Now open up LM and type in chelsea again, now open up the savestate using one of the options you see in the bonus menu, I don't have LM here right now so this is a vague explination. Hopefully you can go from there. The help file is useful for this. |
