Yeah, I've done it before. I have about 2-3 different passwords now. Usually when I get a new one, it's when I give it out and I change most of my passwords to certain things. The past 3 years I've had 5 and sometimes when I come across something I haven't done in awhile like at game sites I'll forget the password  . It's better just to make a new account altogether if your e-mail has changed  . |

| I use several different passwords, based on Importance. The basic one that I use is on every message board I join. For games, I use another. Quite simular to the message board one if you would know me in real life. The third is one that I've never told anybody, but heres a hint: Part of it is a city in Canada, part of it is related to the password I use in message boards, and the other part is a number. I use the third for AIM accounts, Email, and other personal things. I'd be lost without my AIM screen names. And I know alot of people, and having somebody take over my account would be baaadddd. |

| Like our cellar dwelling friend, I try to keep my passwords as random as possible, and write them all down somewhere. I even abbreviate what each password is for so as to make sure no one who glances through can easily figure out what goes with what. | |||

| Eh, if they find out one password somewhere. How could they hack into other places when they don't know anywhere else you go? Unless it's the same as your e-mail. I usually make some passwords different depending on the length requirement at each site. | |||

| I don't use the same password twice. All are random, mostly 12-digit hex strings with extra characters thrown in. As a backup measure, I keep them all in an encrypted file. |
