| I made a new hack, Legend of Zelda, a hack of Red. I just need to find a server now...well, I thought I'd post a thread about it. Edits: Edited graphics, especially terrain and overworld. Different storyline, quest, items and "Pokemon." (well, actually, the Pokemon are your character, etc. you have Link, bosses have themselves, etc.) Nore more pressure on catchin' 'em all, no Poke Balls! 'Cause you don't have to! "Bosses" and "dungeons." Areas from Ocarina of Time! And the extremely difficult to navigate Lost Woods! Now with the path into Termina! (although it's closed...) And there'll be a sequel: Legend of Zelda, a hack of SILVER!!! No screenshots yet, but I'll post them up very soon! |

On second thought...I may cancel this, as it'd be harder to do a LoZ hack of Red than of Silver...but I'll keep tryin'! EDIT: Yeah, Cactus.ips was very good. I even found out what the Matty-O Box does. But I don' know what to do with the Matty-Os. Obviously, they modified Potion (found out with a little thing I love to call...Game Shark! Unofficial name: Sharky! Anyway, I wonder what to do with the Matty-Os. But this is off-topic. Anyway, this is similar, but there WILL be monsters! Your monster'll be Link! I can't erase evolutions, but...I can find a way to make them revelant to the storyline. I'll just need some more editors; PKMN Red Pokemon/Trainer Front/Backpic Editor, Compressed Graphic Editor, Shop Data Editor, a Pokemon Red Table File, a Trainer PKMN Editor...but I can find them. | 1: Old thread by banned user. 2: There are compression issues with Red and Blues graphics. Nobody knows the compression for it, so there can't be any graphics hacks for Red/Blue. He never said he made graphics for it. He just announced this saying he is doing this (which is why I hate this forum: so little hacks yet so many people saying they are making a hack without any screens. Next thing you know they cancelled it...). |

| technicly, you CAN'T. the compression hasn't been cracked yet, you can only copy graphics from green and yellow, and repoint them. its more trouble than its worth for most hackers which is why you don't see alot of it. |
