I've been trying for YEARS to get her to talk to me. But the commercials lie!

Seriously, when I was a kid, I always watched the commercials and thought that she could actually talk. Imagine my surprised when I turned 19 and learned that it was all a marketing sham.

I haven't gotten her to talk either.

I remember I was like 6 and watching those. My dad would turn his back to me and she would "talk" but that was the closest I got.

Mrs. Buttersworth is a North American Pancake (aka Hotcake) syrup. It comes in a bottle shaped like a lady, complete with a face. In the commercials, she talks. When you bring her home, she won't open her damned mouth.
