| It probably does as Ruby and Sapphire was released both in US and Europa before e-reader. Or E-reader was planned for european release but...  I don't even have e-reader, besides I don't want to buy alot of stuff just for a silly ticket.  |

I just did a big flood of preview reading and screenshot viewing. FR/LG looks jawsome, IMO. I think I may even apply myself to a project and make a hack of it, if certain tools are released.  Pokemon Red was my favorite of the series, it was original, FR is like a complete facelift, with added bonuses. I'ma definitely buy it.  |

| I think pokemon has gotten out of hand. It was good at first then they just screwed everything up, aka EXTREME MERCHANDIZING. after gold and silver everything just felt exactly like the previous games, even though they added new things IE monsters items and such. i wouldn't mind if it all stopped. | |||

| no see. if it wasn't for the fact that when the anime was dubbed, it became completly BASTARDISED, then Pokemon wouldn't seem this way, and not so many people would be all "omg dis sux" with nothing to back it up with. The anime dub basicly geared the series towards kids a bit too much, and though it was fine. THAT got out of hand. THATS where all the merchandising came from. if you lookt hrough the games, theres never any official Ash Ketchum. Yes, thats a default name. Thats where they took his first name. But if you havn't noticed his official name is Red, thanks to gold and silver for that. All the merchandise, its all Ash ketchum and his lame ass Larmizard, or somthing. The hype of the anime should not affect the game. | |||

| And the sad thing is that people look at Pokemon and say that it sucks BECAUSE they went overboard with the merchandising. It was a cash cow at the start, but come on... Actually, the latest movie didn't do that badly in Japan. The franchise still has legs there. Sadly, that detracts from the games which are solid in their own right. |
