33-year old Sharon McLoughlin is probably the first in Britain to get prohibition of Stereos.

The neighbours in a public owned residential area in Birmingham thought that Sharon sent out too good vibrations when the furniture in the apartments round about started to dance when McLoughlin playd Eminem and other favorite music.

Hey, some old songs are still good. Besides, I like "Stan"...

There are competitions about loudness where people play a short "beep" in their cars...

Well, it's not a classic, and I wouldn't play it over and over, but yeah. For car audio you would blast that.

Well, she had it coming.

I dont really mind loud music that much, but when your furnature actually begins VIBRATING AND MOVING across the floor, you know there is something wrong.

Its like the people who blast music in their cars while driving and your car begins to vibrate...

Would have been more funnier if she had annoyed her neighberhoods wth some ocremix song. XD

First time I heard anyone getting their "stereo" taken instead of being evicted.

It's a common problem in the UK. Every town has an idiot who loves to play their music to everyone on the street. It's not fun when they live next door at all. When you live in a hall of residence at university, sometimes you can never, ever escape if there's one near you.

I'm glad I don't live in an apartment complex. When my mom did, I always got woken up to her neighbor's playing some retarded "hit" song. Usually hip hop. When ever I spend the night at my friends, I wake up to some music also. Its annoying as hell.

She deserve what she got. I hope she becomes deaf.

I live in a townhouse which is connected to another one. It's in a long row of townhouses connected.

Luckily, I got one at the end so I only have to deal with one potentially bad neighbor. The next door neighbors are a queit family and never blast music. These walls are paper thin though and I can actually hear their phone ringing. It's awesome because I work swing shift and have to sleep during the day.

I played somewhat loud music one time, nothing to loud but they still heard it and complained about a year and a half ago. So I either keep it real low or use headphones now and they haven't complained since.

Even if I could, I wouldn't blast music that loud. I can't enjoy it if it's up to the level where it moves furniture.

Funny thing? We have *no* music problems here. No rowdy teens blasting a boom box with the volume at 11. At worst a car drives by with a loud stereo.

Then again, some of the French people on our street... Like we'd WANT to listen to that.

Is it those walls that you can punch your fist through?

There are people that blew out their windows with loud music... Once, our CAR started to vibrate when the car next to us started to play loud music.

Our car were parked, btw...
