Long story short, I had finally beat Final Fantasy X. But the game locked up midway though the ending though. And I didn't have a chance to beat it again before I had to gave it back to the guy I borrowed it from. So, it's been a few months and I just want to now what happened.

The game locked up during Yuna's speech.

Well, I could tell you but...

Wouldn't you much rather watch it instead? You can probably download it from Kazaa. I remember seeing it there awhile ago and it's probably still there too.

My older Ps2 messed up when I was playing Kingdom Hearts. It froze up during the ending...the first few Ps2's that came out, at leats 56% of them had problems along the line. That could be a problem, when did you get your Ps2? Cause this problem might happen again down the line with another game. Another thing, it could have been a corrupted saved game file. Did you save often and try to play from a different save point?

Anyway, a lot of sites now have the ending scenes, so try to do a search on google.

Actully, the guy I borrow the copy from HAS NO IDEA HOW TO TAKE CARE OF DISKS WHATSOEVER! The disk had alot of damage, had to start a new game SEVEN times because the beggining froze too.

Seymour comes back to life and screams "BUY FFX-2!!!!"

Seriously though, if you can't be bothered to DL the ending (and you should, it's pretty good).

Spoiler:
Yuna makes this sappy speech, and everyone cheers her. We get the credits, which are very long and this nice orchestral version of "Suteki da Ne", then right at the end we see Tidus swimming in an ocean.

At least I THINK that's what it is, it's been an age (and an entire sequel) since I've played it.

Well that's the FFX: International ending if I recall correctly, didn't the American and Japanese versions have other endings?

FFX International was the American version released in Japan with a few more goodies. As for the original Japanese having a different ending, I doubt it.

I have FFX International. The biggest changes I've seen are Dark Aeons (kinda like FFX-2 ones), worst monsters at the fighting Arena in the calm plains and the fact that you can choose between japanese/english subtitles and voices (the original voices were ũber better IMO!

Thank you for clearing this up--now I know getting FFX:International and FFX-2:International will not be a bad investment since I'll get what I want
