In Acmlm's SMB3 editor, is there anyway to duplicate/delete object and sprites? Yeah, I'm new to this, so I'm a noob |

Nope. The Discombobulator isn't my favorite editor for that game as you can't add or delete objects or enemies, just move them around and change their type. Mario Improvement 3, on the other hand, has a Freeform mode which allows you to design your own levels from scratch. The problem: Freeform mode is extremely glitchy when you save to the Rom, and when I used it it ate several of my levels. That's why I don't hack that game anymore. However, many people have made great SMB3 hacks just by moving around objects, so you may actually be quite sucessful with just that. On top of that, you can get really creative and change the colors for each map using the Discombobulator. MI3 can't do that! When I work on a hack, I have to learn to work with what I've got. That's a key element to being a pro hacker. So, good luck to you and your SMB3 hack, that's all I say. Over and out. |
