I dunno, I'm sure there's some way to make it so that crashing is survivable... It's not like the thing is made of steel, I'm fairly certain it's titanium... Doesn't get much harder than that.

1.000.000 USD ~ 1.311.304 CAD (With current market rates)

It's a fact, do you know that during an hole lifetime working at an avererage canadian salary, people almost gets the million when the're taking their old days?

That would mean that no one of the general public will have acess to these. The only possible thing that I see is... The Airways Taxi Company will buy about ten of them and make rides across the globe to the not fortunate ones... lol

Considering the gradually dwindling fossel fuel resources, and the high intake of that fuel of the current hovercraft made, I seriously doubt that we will make a manned hovercraft, more or less any hovercraft in the future. However, the mission to Mars for more resources is an exception.

I'm not gonna get my hopes up of ever seeing anything this great. I'll be long dead by then.

They might find a better carburant by then, you never know what human beings can come up when they join ideas together! About the Mission for Mars, I doubt they will find usefull ressources... but again you never know.. There might be some exceptions.. Like things better then fuel itself.

Well be dead on our present lifes, but if you believe, you might to see them on your second live.. remember.. > "You Only Live Twice" XD

The closest thing I've seen to large floating pieces of metal are predators, and they are unmanned. My dad probably knows more stuff about what the military is hiding than I do, I know nothing. After 17 years of my life, I still can't get the old man to talk. He tells me too much crap I don't understand, or a big fat "What are you talking about?". Maybe it's people like me who are'nt ready yet, or maybe we'll never get to see it.
