When do you think that the human will build flying machines instead cars?
Just to know when you think. Hehehehe

Mind adding some content to that post? I've been noticing you've been a little lax there.

As for me, I really don't know, like NSNick said, we'd have to have some sort of training under it, and god knows that the accidents involved would be...well...you can guess.

If it's anything like Futurama, especially with the amount of times Earth was shot down by a race of aliens...I'd say in time for the year 3000.

i'd say 2100 or later. Our technology isn't advanced enough to make flying cars cheap nor do we have the efficient-enough fuel to go far.

We don't have enough fuel to last us until the end of the decade. That is conventional petroleum hydrocarbons. What's worse, we don't have enough Uranium stores to last us until the end of the century. So, really, nuclear fuels are right out.

We won't invent useless things like personal flying cars. What purpose would they serve other than when we get a drunk driver he blows up in the sky and rains shrapnel down on people below him.

Who says we won't be using Plutonium by then?

Because plutonium is made by further enriching U-138. Oh, and it is highly radioactive due to its unstable half-lifes.

There should be a "We'll be all dead" option. Because I'd change to that.

Damn...and I thought those TMNT comics would prove useful for once in my life. XD

Course I did know about the Plutonium enrich...since you have Neptunium and Plutonium out of the last natural element being Uranium.

Of course, if we REALLY needed to, we could simply use francium, a stupidly unstable chemical and alter its molecular structure to one similar of Uranium. Then, using this, simply create deutrium and tritium from hydrogen fusion. Those bad boys could be the catalyst for some hella intersting reactions.

I love isotopes

Are you going to be one of those mad chemists when you grow up? Hell...most people'd be pressed to know the majority of the perodic table, much less chemical stability.

Hmm.. flying cars? I don't think humans will get around to building them...

They'll probably kill themselves before that even happens =P They need to stop killing off the poor nature.. and trees. No trees? No nice air o.o Plus, with all of the wars still going on, half of our population might be destroyed..

Hey, its just my opinion..

I dont't think flying cares will ever be available to the average consumer, it just seems like more trouble than its worth. Hopefullly some day soon, we will have cars that are much more effcient and run on some renewable resource.

They've already invented a flying car. It's in it's final testing phases, and the US has plans for mass-production. However it's far FAR too expensive and gas-consuming for everyday use.

For now. I'm sure we'll have them in 20, maybe 30 years.

If the humans still exist, this will kill us, probably. Just think of drunk people driving flying cars.

Personally, I think we should be more focused on important things. We need to start working on living in/under water (due to overpopulation), renewable and clean energy sources, effective anti-smoking systems (to eliminate nicotine addiction, so that cigarettes could be outlawed in favour of booze ) and the elimination of rap "music".

Disagreed, it's just going to get bigger and better . The elimination of sorry rappers.

I could care less about flying cars. We should just find other ways to get rid of pollution like make the cars..polutionless or something..the skies are ugly in places..

However I don't think human will be capable of doing such things, right now; so I'd say we'll prolly be all dead before we know... What I'd really be looking forward to however would be flying cars routes vertically (Fifth Element style ) That would be really sweet to drive/fly across all that!

Directly quote from the main site: The M400 Skycar can cruise comfortably at 350+ MPH and achieve up to 28 miles per gallon..

That's crazy... crashing at that speed = no chances of survival
