Bleh.

Anyway, I lovvved this movie. I don't think Ashton was quite the right actor to play this part but he did a pretty decent job. As a big fan of the concept of time travel, I enjoyed this movie very much.

I didn't see it in theaters, but I saw the directors cut. The ending I thought was kind of stupid. Very stupid actually.

Then a friend came over who saw it in the theaters and we were discussing it. Well, turns out that I didn't see that actual theatrical cut ending of the movie. So I watched it and thought that one was MUCH better then the directors cut ending.

If you haven't seen it yet, the least you could do is rent it. It's definitely worth watching once. I wouldn't mind watching it again actually.

Actually. I though Ashton did a pretty good job here. Yeah, I like the TC ending better too. The idea of the movie is very good and it got some very surprising events,

Spoiler:
You know in the end where he's in the mental institution? And he has those films of him when he was young? Well, instead of watching the ones of that party, he watches one where his mom is giving birth to him.

He warps back inside the womb. (Are you still with me here?) Then it does the voiceover of the fortune teller (You were never meant to be in this world) and the talk him and his mother had (You're my miracle baby, two miscarriages before you etc...) So, he chokes himself with the umbilical cord.

Since he's never born, that one chick never stays with her father. (Remember how she said the only reason she stayed with her dad was because of him?) She and her brother go to live with their mother where they're raised properly and have happy lives, apparently. Theeeee end. I think it's stupid because if he back in time to when he was being born, his brain wouldn't be fully developed yet and he wouldn't be able to make the conscious decision to kill himself to change the future.

I looooooved dee movie too. I just watched it last weekend. It was different from other movies I've seen and I liked the original ending too.(Didn't see the DC yet) It was something I didn't expect. While watching the movie, I'd think what might happen but it would be completely opposite. You couldn't guess what would happen next and I think that's what I liked most about it. Ashton did a good job on the movie I think. I should get the DVD one day when we get a DVD player, heh.

I thought it was kinda dumb and labotomised myself, they could have gone a lot further and could have cast it a lot better. It was still a bit better than I expected, though. Predictable dialogue, terrible acting. Flashy sci-fi psycho-weirdness for mass-hollywood distribution... a good concept but not very well done.
