The reggae (1:39) and swing (2:09) variations were conceived sometime in June, at which point I went and rerecorded basically the entire thing (I think the only part preserved from the original was the guitar part from the Waltz (2:29)). The guitar is obviously a compilation of takes; the bass, on the other hand, was one continual take from start-to-finish. It's interesting how stuff evolves from beta to final. As I mentioned, the rough draft was missing two variations, making it about a minute shorter. Additionally, the distortion on the last two sections was initially really treblely and annoying to the ears. Originally posted by kornfan Sounds like a problem with your speakers.
