I've been making a n SMB2j text editor since the old board. and the two reasons it's a text and not a level editor is because 1) you should start small and 2) data on the fds is harder(most likely) to code an editor for.

here's a pic of it

SMB2j is the American lost levels right? Anyway, even if its not will it have any SMAS+SMW support? Even if its only text.

yes it's the lost levels. for now, no for SMAS/SMAS+SMW support. just FDS for now.

And where is stated?

But then, it's more of a common sense to include the orginal Copyright date. Still IPS files only includes the changes... (IPS files only get's illegal if they contain copyrighted matrial, such as copyrighted graphics *cough* )

Brilliant!

Now, I wouldn't call FDS hacking much harder... it's just quite a bit different. One of the biggest problems you may run into is that most emulators save directly to the image, just like a real FDS does. So just keep in mind that not all FDS images are equal.
