| There are two Pokemon Gold editors. One for sprite editing and one for Pokemon and map editing. The rom is also very available and common. So if your saying one of these things is "rare" then your wrong. However I could barely comprehend anything you said; what with all the poor English, so I could have mistaken your point. | |||

They didn't do anything,It has a crappy box and its not a manual its a fucking stupid paper that says you can't play the WHOLE GAME because it's not finished goddamnit The box is of POKEMON RED and has 2 screenshots of beta test gold,It described red and not GOLD.""PERIOD"" And who cares about the rating thingy,The game is not finished and they won't rate a beta test version.Plus thats not the REAL BOX of Beta Gold Test,Because that is the unfinished version of the english beta test gold.So they used a pokemon red box.Just search the net for POKEMON GOLD BETA TEST VERSION JAPANESE,And see the true beta test gold jap box. | scizor, you obviously have very little knowledge about betas when you say the pictured cartridge is one of these. i collect nintendo prototypes myself (mainly snes, though) and that picture is a pirate, as mentioned before, but no beta. gameboy prototypes/betas for testing purposes come ALWAYS (and i really mean it) in the form of an eprom cartridge. heres an example:  there may be newer official nintendo flash variants, but Nintendo NEVER made boxes and labels for betas. never, ever, that is.  they did release SAMPLES. samples are preproduction runs that contian the final game, but with a "sample" and "not for resale" marking on the label. your pictured game has none of these. plus, roms cant be rare. either they are released or they are unreleased.
