| Anyone who has not tried this game out and loves RPGs is definatly missing something. Even though the game is long like no other. (I think like 80 hours) I am about 25-30 hours in right now and I am very pleased. The battle system is not like the other tales games, but in ways it is. So anyone else here play/own it. | |||

I've heard great things about it so far. The GameCube has been starved for RPG's (although nowhere near as badly as the N64) and all the reviews I've seen are pegging this one as a real winner.  I might get it if the price goes down... I think it's at $80 Canadian with tax which is a wee much. Free lithograph or not.  |

It's out already?  Damn, that one slipped right under my radar.Wait, did it just come out Tuesday? That's when new games/movies/cd's come out. Anyway, I've had my eye on this one for quite some time. And I love epic level rpg's. I don't think this one will beat Dragon Warrior VII for time though. That game took 3 bazillion hours to beat. Estimated. Yeah, I read the reviews in EGM and it said something that didn't sit right with me. Hold on, I'll go get it. (This post is in real time!) Scores: 8.5, 7.5, and 8.5. A very good solid average. Good: Exciting battles, stylized visuals Bad: Painful difficulty spikes, dull cut-scenes Yeah, that's what it was. Dull cut-scenes. It also mentions that the "skit" system can get very boring and "drawn-out". Oh, and something about the save points being few and far between? Oooh, I hate when RPG's do that. There's nothing worse than getting far from your last save, then dying and having to do it ALL over again. Especially after a boss fight and/or long cut scene. But besides those few hits, everything else seems to be great. I love how the battle system is going to be. It's reminiscent of Star Ocean which was kick ass. Yep, I'll definitely be picking up this game. |

| I bought Tales of Symphonia the day it came out. And Im loving every minute of playing it. First of all the battle system is one of the best Ive ever experienced since Kingdom Hearts. The story in my opinion is really good. Its full of plot twists and turns that you might die just thinking about whats going on for too long. Multiplayer is a cool feature, but i have to admit that it has its flaws. |

| Actually the battle system is Tales games plus. The skit system can be drawn out and you know sometimes boring. The game is great though, I am about 30 hours in (80 hours total I've heard). So far the game is very unique. A very nice story line and all that, but it lags at some times. Hey here is our goal and you know what you have to do, but you have to do all this other stuff before you can do that. Still if you like very long games and can stick to it this is a great buy. |

| Man, I can't believe it took m 70 hours to get most of the side quests and basically ready to take on the last boss. Had I been using FAQs and such, I'm sure I would've had less time, but still.. the amount of time I clocked in this game was incredible. I love this game.. The characters and the story were both great.. I'm slightly iffy on the voice acting... And I wish they would've worked A LOT more on the cutscene presentation. It felt like watching dolls move around from time to time. Though.. there were times where it worked. Despite that, I loved the game. I wish they would've had a Combo Command thing so I wouldn't have to keep changing my shortcuts for when i felt like using a different move  First game that's taken me more than a week to beat. *bows* Thank you, Namco. Thank you for your story, cameos, and plot twists. I honestly think this game kinda breaks some kinda ground.. especially with the main character actually thinking despite how airheaded he is. |

| I was a little iffy about not getting to name the main character, but as I played I realized why. Lloyd is an actual character with thoughts and feelings so your basically playing as him instead of playing as your own personal character. Im only 36 hours into the game, I havnt been able to play as much as Id like. Oh, I just recently got some new costumes for my party and for some reason it just made the fun factor of the game sky rocket for me. Its a blast going around as a little pink haired girl dressed as Klonoa  My biggest problem in the game is the cut scenes. It could have been great if they were done in Anime, sure theres one but that one isnt all too great. They story can lag at time but the story is still too interesting to put most people off after a few dull skits. Other that this game is truly fantastic, one of the finest Action RPGs Ive ever played. Not as good as Kingdom Hearts of course But stille GREAT! |

| I just got to the second disk after all that wierd stuff happened. I haven't got any new costumes and those puzzels are hard like no other. At least some of the are, some are really easy. Did anyone beat you know who at the tower on thier first try. I barely slid by with a victory. (Since you don't have to beat him and all) (If you don't know who I mean then pm me and tell me how far you are. Wouldn't want to ruin a very surprising part of the game.) |

| I beat the first guy with no problems at all, but the seconf guy killed me due to my lack of items, then the third I just plain had no chance at all. Ive been on Disk 2 for a while already, Ive just found out some startling revelations  And I left the story there and went exploring. Basically getting as many costumes as I could get and leveling up a bit. Heres my progress....Level of Characters on Average: 62 Meltokio Collosium  ingle:Beginner and AdvancedParty:Beginner Costumes: Lloyd-Beach, Formal Sheena-Beach,Formal,Ninja Regal-Formal Genis-Formal, Katz Raine-Maiden Zelos-Beach,Formal,Mask Presea-Klonoa Collete-Maid ------------------------------------------------------------- It kinda sucks that you cant get everones Beach and Formal costumes but I think I made the right picks |

| Wait a minute....I preordered this game AND I didn't get a art book/lithograph....THIS FSCKING SUCKS!! Oh well I'll see if I can get it sometime when I am at gamecrazy... I am 17 hours into it so far. I beat the first guy at the tower. The second guy I got him down to abou 6000hp but then I died. And "Lord" just destroyed me...I WILL GET MY REVENGE!!! On my second play through. Note:I can't remember if I ever played through a game 2 times before besides Clock Tower 3(Verry awesome) |

| Hey Ried do the colosuem advanced party mode thing and you will get a nice surprise. I am not at the last dungeon and I have finished almost everything. Only like a side quest or two to clear up. Oh and I learned that the game can take many many turns towards the end. (on your next play through if you haven't done it this time make your relation with Kratos high and your relation with Zelos low) It gave me a good shock towards the end. my average character level 70-71 right now. I can't list my party though. | |||

| I beat the game and am on my second time through now. It is an awesome game throughtout the entire game, and now I can actually say that and be honest. The collosium is one of the last things you get to do really. Oh and on the last battle of advanced party mode you can use items. Oh the under world thing sucks in this game. | |||

| I'm on my second playthrough, and things have been quite different this time around. I changed some of my actions, and I've caused the story to be a bit altered. After some hard work, I got the fortune teller in Triet to say that Colette has some faith in me, and Sheena being my soulmate. ^____^ I even got a "Combo!" skit involving Lloyd and Sheena. Also.. instead of going back to Palmacosta during a certain scenario at the Palmacosta Ranch, I decided to just force my way in through the front doors of the ranch. And.. it actually worked. The dialogue was changed, and there was different people. It's nice to see the programmers weren't lazy in dealing with stuff one normally wouldn't do... |

| I did the thing with sheena too, and I also went through the front door. I mean why not right. Towards the end of the game depending on which character had higher relations (Kratos or Zelos) or something like that would also change the game big time. | |||

| The game is easily finished at level 70 or so. I am already at 60 on my second play through with the 2x exp bonus. Not quite to the second disc yet. |
