Anyone speak different?
My accent has changed to a normal American accent over the years as I learned English more. I used to have an asian accent from day 1 to age 7. It was really hard to pronounce "Rs" "Js" and "Ls" correctly.

According to some people my accent sounds like Elizabeth Hurley's >(

And it's not true.

I think I'm slowly acquiring a D4 accent, which would be the upperclass Dublin accent. It's not too strong though, I'd go with the "I have no accent" option probably.

I don't have to much of an accent, but I am Canadian, so I tend to say "eh" lot. Also I'm sort of developing a Central Nova Scotia accent, because I am there a lot.

As I'm from Connecticut, we don't have an accent. Although at least TV anchors are told to model themselves after us, accent-wise.

Same here

Although right now it's the deep-voice of puberty voice, and I can use my voice to annoy people sometimes. A highly annoying and therefore desirable trait in a voice

American Southwest. That's the accent most movie stars use. I do however sometimes say "falla" for "follow" and "barra" for "borrow", but those are the only exceptions.

Everybody has an accent. Mine's a cross between a fairly neutral western Canadian, and far southern Irish.

I spent a year in Texas, thus my accent is kind of southern. Of course, I don't have an extreme southern drawl, since that probably takes a lifetime to acquire. It is hard to tell from my accent that I'm actually a non-native speaker (I've fooled quite a few people), but there are still some giveaways.

As for my native language, Norwegian. People in my county,

You should hear how some of us Mainers talk. Instead of the word "barn" it's "baaaa'n" and "lobster" is "lobstah". I don't talk like that. I kind off have a British accent on occasion especially around girls.

I know what you mean with the Maine accent, it's very similar to Canadian Maritimers. The accent is more distinct in Maine, however.

I don't exactly have an accent... but I have to admit, it's kinda hard to speak properly when you want to talk so fast because of all of the sugar...

So I kinda slur words most of the time... I'm just a hyper-person-on... And guess what? If I stay up too long passed midnight, I'll start laughing at everything I see. Weird, yes?

I'm from the Midwest, where the English is the purest ever. Only the occasional extra preposition ("Where's your house at?"). Aside from that, I don't think I have any irregularities in my speech.

None. Well, of course the "normal" american accent. I've talked to my friend over in AUS before, and she said that I do have an accent, which would make sense since it was the first time that we had talked on the phone with each other.

You'd be surprised, actually. I haven't met a South Floridan with a southern accent. It's really odd. It's more of a spanish accent, really (which I tend to have if I really want to) if anything.

I've heard people from the south states with a thick accent and I say, "yea, they're from up north".
