Don't be nervous. I was in 5th grade only a couple of years ago. It's not that hard... its like veeeeeeeeeeerry easy. Oh yeah, and make sure you're in a class with good-looking people ::wink wink:: I'm starting 8th grade in like a month or two... but I know it's not going to be very hard, I think it's fun. But since I'm going to a new school, I'ma have to get new friends o.O

Know whats cool though? My middle school is right next to the high school. And since I'm taking all AP and all Honors classes, I'm gonna have High School courses XDD That means I can go to the High School and take classes there.. I'm sooo happy I can see kyute guys

I'm not the youngest anymore? o.o

This kids starting 5th grade, and I'm starting college. Well, I've been in college all summer.

Man... 5th grade... that year was very simple and easy for me. You shouldn't worry about it at all. Just take time to enjoy life when its this simple, after this, things get more complicated.

Actually, here I think it varies from school system to school system, though usually by county. Ours was K-5/6-8/9-12, but after I was in high school, they changed it to K-4/5-6/7-8/9-12, because my city is retarded. It's also the same city that built a brand new city hall 500 feet from the old one, leveling half a forest to do so, instead of just renovating the old one.

Hmmm... *thinks* That would place me at 15th grade I've been in education for fifteen years now, going into my 16th this September. Of course, university years don't count as grades, but it's still scary how long I've been educated for

5th grade wasn't that big of a deal for me. It was pretty fun. The biggest thing was probably mini-society and Human Growth and Development. If you watch that one movie, 'The Miracle of Life,' be sure to be ready to close your eyes at some parts. That's basically the bad part, and that isn't even that bad. So have fun!!!

Heh that reminds me. I did forget a lot that I learned in the early years . Like on a application to Subway I forgot how to manually subtract..I think that's why I didn't get the job

Damn fifth grade was a loooong time ago for me. That was the year I got into my first math-oriented argument with a teacher.

For myself 5 grade was the highest Elementry level. Then 6-8 was middle school. Now 9-12 is high school. I remember getting out of 5 grade. I was ready for a change of schools. I was also happy, 5 grade is pretty fun for my class because our teachers are where really cool... Which is probably why I remember 5 because the teachers where actually quite good. But don't worry, just do your best and you'll be fine

My old school district doesn't know what the fuck it wants to do. It currently goes:
k-3. 4-6. 7-9. 10-12.

What's up with that? Are the people retarded?

What the hell... I thought our school was bad for having this huge building just for 3 grades (Middle School 6-8). But... thats just not right... exspecially if they have seperate building for all of those grade groups. That's just a wast of money...

And being the highest dug per capita town in the state, it's not like they've got money. Much less, money to spare.

Damn..I guess not everyone goes in the same order. I never went to a school where they tried to fit all grades into a few buildings . I'm happy with the way the schools I've went to been.
