| Every time I write my level to the rom, it bugs up when I go in, sending me to a glitch-room-of-death or just plain crashing. I have to save my level to the rom 3 or more times before it works, it seems. Do I just have a bad rom? Is my hack corrupted beyond repair?? I don't get it. Pictured below is one of the glitched rooms of death.  PS: This is the same thing that was happening to my castle. Now it's happening to any level I write to. Good thing your here. I am going to upload something just 2 secs. This is those sonic balls that I was taking about. I used a filter, thats why the screen looks like this. ABOUT YOUR PIC. MAKE SURE THAT BG1 IN THE BYPASS EXGFX MENU IS SET TO 19 (opps sorry for the caps) Handish, download this file: http://www.freewebs.com/playstation4/Super%20Mario%20World.zmv Make sure your ROM is named to the same thing as the file (or vice versa) Then watch the video. | Looks like a Demo World leftover. And the bypass thing didn't help: it's like something's in the ROM redirecting me from my stages to invalid stages. Yeh, I did get the castle fixed, but I altered my intro level and now it's doing the same thing the castle was doing. | The "sonic balls" are what the ghosts look like when you face them. Then when you turn away, they look normal. Make sure you read all of my first post. Okay, I can send you a patched version of your rom back to you. It will be in like an hour, because I got a virus on my computer that all of the files are on. Then hopefully the castle will work right. EDIT: Do you have msn or aim? If so, just add me and we can talk later (like 10:30 or so) that way I can send over your hack. OH you know what I just thought of. Check to see if the question blocks are still there, the mid way point bars, and yoshi. If they are gone. Your lucky I have a copy of your hack!! | Not in the castle, just anywhere in the game. Just make sure they are all there somewhere in any level. And make sure they aren't glitched. Don't ask why, its just that this happens when you mess around with the insert/extract gfx/exgfx. OMG, just saw the pink yoshi. Thats weird. Something might be wrong with your zsnes, or lm, or rom. | Uh... yeah, they are fine, but do all 3 have to be in one level? And can Yoshi be the yoshi-in-a-box kind? Not that I can get to them now because my intro is messed up and Mario dies in that glitch room. This is it again. It's always different, but always empty... | N, its just I screwed up my first hack messing with the extract/insert gfx.exgfx. The BG's went all screwy like that and these 3 items, +more disapperared. That heppened and it took me like 4 hours to get it all back together. Anyway. If you want, we could play your hack online. (I don't know how, but I know its possible with zsnes.). I am on right now, so send me this recent glitched copy of the hack, and we can try to fix it up. Only if you want too. ****sees above pic**** AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! MY EYES!!!!! | received. Did you want to try and play it online? That way, oe of us can be mario, and one can be ligui (I don't know how to spell his name!). Only if it works over here tho. okay I think I have the answer to your problem. Your rom, once again, is fine over here. Take a brand new, bever edited original SMW rom and patch the ips you sent me, to that rom. If its still messed up, make sure you used lunar ips. Now redoneload, zsnes (the newest version), and LM (the newest version). If that doesn't work.....well, I have no idea.
