i chose my name coz one of the warriors of the saint seyia series, aioria, is my fav one from the entire series.
i had 2 old names last year, btw. the first one was 'Floyd Koopa' (coz i'm a pink floyd fan) and then 'Frog Trigger', coz i was in a Chrono Trigger madness at that time.  |

At the time (2001), I was obsessed with the "Mehr!" noise that the Shy Guys in the N64 version of Mario Tennis made (my friend and I would walk around making this noise, annoying my mom to no end  ), so I knew I wanted something to do with Shy Guys in my name (hence the "Guy"). I also wanted to have something in my name that had to do with ice or something (hence "Icy"), so that's how I came up with this name.
I also though it might be a good idea to show you guys what I consider to be my "character pic," which was drawn by Mike when I became a staffer at his now-defunct Koopa Village. That pic is a combination of blue (my favorite color; when the time came to decide what I wanted, I realized that I didn't want my character to look like he was made of ice), The Matrix, and Rare (fave game company). You can't see it, but the Rare logo is on the back of the trenchcoat, so here's a beta where you CAN see it.

When I first got on the internet, sometime around age 5 (1991/1992), I picked the screen name JDavis1186. Which is a combination of my name, Josh Davis, along with the month and year I was born, November 1986.
When I first came to Acmlm's in 2001, I was still using that name (and infact, I still do for AIM). But at the start of 2002, just after a temporary username change for the Christmas season, I decided it was time to but off the numbers and go to the simpler JDavis. |

| I started of as Link cause I though magic using Swordsman were cool. Then it became Neo-Link cause it was more original. Then I disappeared from the Internet and cam back as Sieg. Which is from .Hack Volume In the case of Mia Minase. Sieg was an all powerful magic swordsman. Then after a while of having that name I got bored and realized no one knew how to pronounce it right, so I changed to Sion. Which basically means the Last. Then I got hooked on Case Closed and it became Detective Sion. |

I think I made this username up from the top of my head. Suri was what I put in front of any type of animal (suri wolfie, suri lion, suri cat, etc.)... just because it sounds all kyute and stuff ^.^
And the "Bear" part came along when I was trying to think of an animal. I was thinking of Teddy Bear or something, I dunno. But I chose Bear because they're kyute and cuddly... eh, the stuffed-animal is anyways. o.o

I picked my name as a reason to have a "persona" that was differnet than how I normally act. You don't see it much here, but on the protoboards (and everywhere else I haunt) I act like this goofy person. I like to study ancient religions and Ares was a character that no one used. in myth he was part badass and part utter fKitten Yiffer, which is how I kind of want to portray myself. Instead I just piss Kawa off. Either way is fine for me.... Mwwhwahahahahhahahaa.
oh, and in case nobody knows...Ares is the greek god of war. |
