Aurora Australis~. (Sorry.. just had to say that x.x)

I want to see an Aurora some time in my life , I'd have to go north though.. and even then it wouldn't be guaranteed. At least it's kinda close.. x).

You know that "Borelia" is a disease on Swedish, right? Oh, darn it... "Borealis"...

Well, I know what you mean but I mistook it for something else...

Hmm, up north? Maybe I can see it one day. I doubt I could from here. Too much pollution . I should go to a nice place and see it, traveling would be fun

I don't live up North but it was a very clear night. I saw it and never thought it was that until afterwards.

The curtain ones are common in the northern part of Sweden...probably in the whole (northern) Scandinavia...

There are more colors than green in them?

Sure! There's the most common (and probably the most fun to watch) green, sometimes mixing with yellow or blue, then every once in a while you'll get purple, pink, reddish colors. There's also many forms such as the wave, a streak of light, and curtains... just to name a few.

Aww that sounds purdy. Wish I could see it sooner. Damn pollution. GO AWAY DAMNIT! I never really thought about it before though. I just knew it was made up of a bunch of colors not viewable where I'm at.

It looked like rivers of vivid greenish-bluish energy flowing upwards from the horizon to the top of the sky. It was absolutely breathtaking, and I really hope it happens again soon.
4 years ago. I was looking at the same thing, but from Lewiston, Idaho.
