Will Mac Panther X OS run on a Dell latitude C600 laptop? Just wondering, because it would help me a lot if it did with video editing and stuff. |

Mac OS (any version) will not run on ANYTHING but Apple-made or licensed hardware; except through emulation (which would probably be way too slow for you). It was different when Macs ran on hardware other people used (back in the days of the 6502, and the early 680x0's), but that's ancient history by now. |

You could probably get it running with a program called PearPC, but don't expect to do any video editing or any other processor-stressing work. Your best bet would be to start saving for a G5 Powermac or wait a while for the G5 iMacs. OS X/Darwin is a wonderful platform, it's been my favorite after toying with various flavors of *nix and windows. |
