Originally posted by Kitten YifferWould probably depend on the state; they each have their own rules about who's eligible for a driver's license, and their own procedures for taking licenses away for medical reasons. That seems to be what happened to me... the last time I had any kind of seizure, I was 11... that was a decade ago. |

Nope. Schizophrenia can just be two different behaviours of someone. Multiple personality disorder is the classic stereotype of schizophrenia, but involves completely different personalities. (edited by Kasumi-Astra on 07-14-04 07:27 PM) |

Bipolar is where there are two wildly different behaviours, one depressed, and the other wildly eccentric. The eccentricity usually disguises the depressed feelings which are usually never seen by most people. |

Manic depression is the term usually used to describe people who find release from their feelings by mutilating themselves | |||

Yeah, manic depression and being bipolar are two really different things. I just remember when you're bipolar you can go from being really uppity, to depressing lows. I remember seeing it on ER..I think in health classes. Manic depression I wasn't to sure of but now I am. I thought it would be something like that..to mutilate yourself to take out the way you feel on yourself. (edited by Bella on 07-15-04 10:21 PM) |
