| Schwa walks to the prepared platform, built by a blacksmith specially for their match. The platform is steel, and it balances on a small, flat piece of mountain. It's attached by many steel poles, but in proper winds the platform would shake. The platform is 50 feet across and 50 feet wide. Why would Schwa go through all this trouble for a fight? APH Striker turns 13 years old on this day. It's amazing how young this skilled nomad is, when you consider the abilities he uses. Schwa, as of this day, is 16. The big secret is, though, Schwa and APH Striker are brothers. It's been a while since their last match. After that match ended in a surprising draw, Schwa had promised to train rigorously until their next battle. Finally, the day of the rematch has arrived. "I can't wait to show APH how much I've improved my psi techniques," Schwa says excitedly. "I also can't wait to see how much APH improved on his science attacks." OOC: APH and I already arranged this battle to start on July 12th. He knows I started it on his birthday. And yes, we really are brothers. |

| APH striker has received an invitation for a suprise from Schwa. He knows what is going to happen. "Schwa has had enough time to train well." APH says to himself. "He is looking for a fight." APH packed his seven swords, his vials, and his newest weapon, his Magic Yoyo, and went on his way. When he reached the area, he can see the arena. "Schwa!" he calls. "Are you up there?" | |||

| "Hi, APH!!" calls a familiar voice from above, none other than Schwa. "Come up here and check out this arena!" There's a ladder nearby, a series of metal bars bolted to the mountain rock, that lead up to the platform. Standing next to the ladder is a bum-looking man. "Hi, I built that platform. I'm a blacksmith. Happy birthday and good luck in your fight. Uh, bye." The blacksmith wanders home, leaving an open arena with APH's brother eager to challenge him. | |||

| "Nice weapon, bro! Oh, that is a weapon, right? I don't think a fighter would bring an ordinary yoyo out in combat..." Schwa takes his special dark blindfold out of his pocket, and uses it to blind himself, his tradition before every fight. This sharpens his vision tenfold, allowing his psychic awareness to replace his weak, human vision. "Actually, APH, I was hoping you'd bring a boomerang. They're cooler in my opinion. But hey, your weapons, your choice. Happy birthday, by the way. Your birthday present will be this rematch, a battle of honor. So... to battle with us!!!" Schwa raises his hands and a coating of blue ether quickly surrounds them. Then, Schwa thrusts an open palm toward APH, releasing from it a trio of powerful, holy energy rings, headed toward APH. | |||

| APH rolls out of the way, then launches his yoyo. It goes extremely fast for a yoyo, ever faster than Schwa's Moonbeam of Stormbird! The whole time it is crackling with explosive energy. When it gets right next to Schwa, it detonates. | |||

| It was impossible for Schwa to figure out what just happened until it was too late. The great explosion knocks Schwa backward and he falls face-down on the steel platform. Slowly he gets up. "Was that your yoyo? I didn't even see it move! That's some powerful weapon. I need to think of a counter for it... I know! I'll beat speed with speed. I use... Thunder Glider!!! (echo effects) Schwa holds his right palm out, and blue swirls fly out, forming a large blue top on the ground, barely big enough for Schwa to stand on. Schwa leaps into the air and lands on his top, but instead of standing there he levitates an inch from the surface of the top. The top starts flying high into the air, and spinning fast. Suddenly it starts firing electricity bolts in every direction. APH should be familiar with this move as it was used in their first match, but now the bolts strike with highly increased power and velocity. Schwa is flying a good distance above the platform, firing down at APH. |

| APH is hit by a bolt and is thrown back a few feet. He thinks desperately for a way to get rid of it. Suddenly, he uses a spell. Dispel! (echo effect) A dispelling beam is shot at the thunder glider. |

| "Not so fast, APH. Release Moonbeam of Stormbird!!!" (echo effects) Schwa's famous attack fires 4 thin, lavender beams out of his palm, which hit the dispel beam in less than a tenth of a second. (APH's yoyo moved even faster... imagine that!) The lavender beams quickly eat away at the dispel until there is nothing left. "Remember this: Dispel can eat away at energy, but so can Moonbeam of Stormbird. However, Moonbeam is made of special ether, not just energy." Schwa attacks APH again, this time with a barrage of quick sparks flying from the edge of the top he's standing on. |

| APH first does a standard yoyo trick to take out most of the sparks; he endures the rest. Then he draws his Lightning Sword. He mutters, "It's time to fight thunder with thunder." He points at the Thunder Glider and discharges a powerful jolt of electricity. | |||

| Schwa focuses, and an equally powerful thunderbolt flies out of the top's point to counter. The two bolts collide and explode, cancelling each-other out. Schwa then fires at the platform APH is standing on, electrifying it for a fraction of a second. This is meant to soften APH up. | |||

| APH is prepared for a counter. He stabs his sword on the ground, jumps on the handle, and balances there. the electricity in the platform is absorbed by the sword, which is now beefed up from all the electricity. APH jumps down and grabs his sword. He lets loose another jolt of electricity, this time including the stuff from the platform. | |||

| "Oh no, it can absorb, too!" Schwa tries to counter with another equally powerful bolt, but it's not quite as powerful as APH's. APH's bolt plows through the lesser one and scores a direct hit on the flying top. The thing now has the apperance of a staticy hologram, and it flies a little closer to the ground as well as becoming slower. "Dang, that was powerful! This thing is even resistant to electricity, and in one hit it lost more than half it's stamina. It costs too much mana to control a damaged Thunder Glider, so I'm dispelling it right now." Schwa now flies to the ground, leaps off the top, and places his palms on the top. The top disintegrates, and ether flares up around Schwa's palms. "Good thing I can convert the glider's HP into mana for myself. I don't have nearly as much mana as I did before I brought it into play, though. "Time for some help. Zraku Companion, please aid me!!! (echo effects) Schwa raises his hands up, and the blue ether flares up as a portal appears nearby. A blue, firey fox with glowing, silver eyes emerges sleekly out of the portal in a leap. She lands on all fours and runs in front of Schwa. "APH, Zraku. Zraku, APH. Hey bro, too bad you don't know any summoning moves!" The Zraku attacks! She gracefully runs up to APH and pounces, electricity gathered around her ethery, front paws. In the meantime, Schwa fires a trio of weak energy bolts at APH (they're not very powerful because Schwa already used a special ability this turn). |

| APH rolls out of the way from the Zraku. Then, he begins snickering wildly. "Muhuhahahaha.....do I have no summoning moves?" Summon Silver Blob! (echo effect) A mist begins to appear in the middle of the stadium. Soon, the mist materializes into what APH said; a silver blob! It hops over to APH. "I have so many summoning moves that it would boggle your mind!" The blob shoots part of itself at the Zraku. OOC: when I say 'blob', try to picture a Bit, except pulsating and a little bigger. |

| The Zraku leaps high into the air and dodges the attack, but the blob attack is still heading toward Schwa. Schwa doesn't dodge nearly as gracefully as the Zraku, but at least he wasn't hit. Now the Zraku speaks with a telepathic message. "Schwa, what's the best way to defeat that thing?" Schwa smiles. "I'll take care of the Silver Blob and APH at the same time. You and I can just stand back and support with ranged attacks." Schwa folds his arms across his chest, and his whole body becomes surrounded in blue ether. Then the ether flashes red for a second, and four blue wisps appear out of an invisible portal above Schwa's head. Three of them circle APH, one of them circles the Silver Blob. "You remember these, right? These are identical shards of my spirit, which I broke off and placed in the Etheral Dimmension. I didn't want your ally to be lonely, so I gave him one, too. But, uh... I'm a little curious about what you said... 'You have so many summoning moves it would boggle my mind'... Do you really? Or was that just a sike-out?" |

| "I'll show you." the blob looks up at APH, and he nods. Suddenly, the blob begins shaking, and it splits into two smaller blobs! Then thoses two turn into two more, and each of those multiply, and so does the next batch of blobs! Soon there are a total of 16 blobs on the field, each one only a little bigger than a man's fist. They run up and form a circle around Schwa. APH then turns to face the Zraku alone. OOC: the multiplying doesn't really count as an attack. |

| OOC: It DOESN'T?! C'mon, it has to! Limit yourself to a certain number of multiplies per turn. "APH, you don't know everything about the blue wisps, do you? Remember, I assigned one to your silver blob. And it seems that wisp categorized the multiplying as an attack! This platform won't be able to hold two armies of multiplying creatures!" The wisp around the first blob starts morphing... in 6 seconds it has become what looks like a pool of bubbling, blue jelly. As soon as the jelly appears, it starts to split into 2 of itself. The two smaller blue jellies then grow into full-sized ones. "Whoa!!! Did you see that?! I bet your blobs can't grow back into full-size after splitting! Of course, yours can multiply faster... but I also think yours aren't made of acid, and mine are! See the bubbles? It looks like acid to me. We shall see in a moment." One of the Blue Jellies slithers over to APH and envelops his right foot. It burns away at his shoe, just like acid. The other jelly completely envelops one of the tiny blobs, and eats away at it as well. Meanwhile, the Zraku speaks to APH telepathically. "Be careful with your blobs, APH. One with too many allies can cause them to be out of control." |

| APH kicks away the jelly that is leeching onto his foot and throws a vial at it so it will dissolve away into nothing. Meanwhile, the other 15 blobs do a group attack on Schwa by leeching onto him and tackling him to the ground. | "Ew! Zraku, get these blobs off me in any means necessary!" Schwa cries. Zraku sighs, sad that she's the one who must save the day again, and fires a fountain of powerful, holy energy at Schwa and the 15 blobs. Being weak, the small blobs should be all destroyed, and Schwa doesn't take damage from holy attacks. The one Blue Jelly that got hit by the vial dissolved away, and APH notices the steel platform is partially melted where the Blue Jelly used to be. The other Blue Jelly is left, but doesn't multiply. Actually it falls through the floor, because it has accidentally eaten a hole in the steel. The Blue Jelly lands on the steep hill below and slithers away, killing all plants it touches. Schwa gets up off the ground. "Crud, those blobs of yours multiply like rabbits! Summon something else next time, or teach your Silver Blobs to only multiply one time. Not even I go around raising armies against single foes!" Zraku nods in agreement. Then she says, Schwa, APH still has 3 pieces of your spirit orbiting him. Will you really need me for this fight? I mean, I know I came in handy when you were being blobbed, but..." Schwa shrugs. "You can be a spectator until he summons again, I suppose. Just cheer me on for now, okay? And wish APH a happy birthday." Zraku looks at APH. "Oh, it's your birthday? Well, happy birthday, APH." |
