If you have been following the gameshow for the past month, youll probably already know that this guy has won just about 1,000,000 off of the game show, and he is still going from what I know.

Now tell me that going about 28 days straight on Jeopardy is not crazy.

Uhm...I thought they were supposed to get rid of a contestant of the show after the fifth win in a row on the Friday.

Theyve obviously changed the rules to let a contestant go as long as they can. I freaked out when I had seen him at 14 days...

Well... 28 days does seem a little extreme. I haven't watched Jeopardy lately, but I know someone who has...

One of the days Alex said some people had approached him for the rights to make a movie about this.

Oh yeah, I've been watching Ken Jennings since he's been on. He started back when I was still at school, where we would watch Jeopardy every day. I think he'll break a million, but what I really want to see is him win by default after the other two people have negative cash amounts and aren't allowed to participate in Final Jeopardy. That almost happened a little while ago, but one of the contenders got a correct response to pull himself out of the red right before Final Jeopardy.

Needless to say, I'm glad this guy is getting more people to watch Jeopardy, a truly awesome show.

i think this might be a milestone to push other gameshows up to par with shows like Millionare and i guess now Jeopardy to raise the amount of the winnings that a person can win. this is good news folks should one of us ever find ourselves participating on such shows. sadly shows like Win Ben Stein's Money won't be able to compete with such little give aways like $5000.

Who says they have to compete? They come on at different times.

I saw that guy. He's at somewhere around $900,000. Maybe I should try out for jeapordy. Does anyone on here know how old you have to be?

I have seen him, and he's excellent. I bet the IRS can't wait to get their shitty paws on that cash.

18 for the normal Jeopardy, I believe, but there's also the Teen Tournament and College Tournament.

My borther is actually seeing if he can try out for the college tournament. He hasnt gotten anything back though.

I just remembered though, Ken hasnt tried to beat the 1 day winnings record of... 52000 or something around that.

Taht would be pretty cool. Every time that you get a daily double, risk it all.

He tied the 1-day record on Friday, after much urging by Trebek. Alex said he could have bet one more dollar.

I've seen a few episodes and charted his progress.

Then again, I usually do really well on Jeopardy when playing at home. Get rid of all the American-centered categories and I could be the Canadian Ken Jennings.

He's at 28 now and has $920,960.

If he keeps winning, he could reach $1,000,000 Tuesday (with two big games) or Wednesday.

that's unbelievable...

what he REALLY needs to do to set some records is to go through a round and by chance have no one pick the daily doubles until the vary end of the round (last two questions) if he picks them and bets it all gets it right and repeats it again i'm sure he could mount some massive sums of cash!

i know if i went on that show though i'd flunk miserably.
