| Anyone notice the insanely amount of ADHD children as of late? Seems like everyone and their brother has ADHD and you know what? Its bullshit. Parents these days don't understand that kids need displine, society has this thought that spanking and displining your kids is wrong. Hell, I have read that a child who is yelled at as a kid will grow up not right. So people don't displine their fucking kids and since they don't want to be labeled as bad parents they use the whole "They have ADHD" excuse. Its bullshit. I'm raising my sister (Actually my mom is but she does such a shitty job, I do almost everything) and she has ADHD. Mom wants to put her on mediction but i don't. I grew up with ADHD and it wont make her a fKitten Yiffer. She gets in trouble at school because shes bored, but a few times of displine and asking her school to give her more work than everyone else has worked greatly. Shes very smart for 7. Her grasp on the english language isn't too well (neither is mine) so people look at her as stupid but when your 7 years old and can understand how to do math with fractions (and do it correctly). Your far from stupid in my eyes. Plus she loves to read. I fail to see ADHD/ADD as a disorder. Since I see disorders as handicaps and ADD isn't a handicap. |
