You'd be surprised how thoroughly I've planned it.

Long-Term Goals: Buy a remote tropical island (not too big, maybe the size of a house) and live outdoors on it. If I do it right, it'll be expensive to start, but nearly or totally free afterward. I'll have a small filtration system for water, solar panels/water-powered generator (depends on currents and sun hours) for electricity, and stolen satellite TV, so the only things I'll probably need to pay for are food and the Internet.
If this isn't an option, I'll probably just move to Japan or Hawaii.

Short-Term Goals: Learn Japanese and visit Japan, learn PHP and C, get a car and go on a road trip. Make a heck of a lot of cash for stuff mentioned above.

Marriage: We shall see. I know someone online; we're good friends and I trust she is who she claims (kinda hard to fake for what, 3 years now? ) but so long as we only know eachother online, I'm not about to plan anything major around her. You never know... (And of course, I could meet someone completely different. It'll be a good while before I even think of such things.)

Career: I'd like to be a programmer for Nintendo. Failing that I'll simply develop and sell software at home. If that doesn't work out, there's hundreds of computer-related things I can do for a living, and other things besides that. (I always thought a helicopter pilot would be a nice job. )

While I'm not daydreaming of playing a modern day Trotsky, I'm aspiring to study Pharmacology and hopefully get acquire one of those PhDs that make people take you seriously. Aside from wanting to be called *Dr.* Joe, I want to revive public research of the psychedelics. I'm specifically interested in the entheogens that occur in nature, such as Dimethyltryptamine and Psilocybin. The likes of Terence & Dennis McKenna, Tim Leary, Jonathan Ott, as well as my experiences the aforementioned indoles are what pushes me in this direction.

Marriage and life goals.... well, I'll probably end up marrying my current sweetheart and build a big windmill-house in Europe or Canada in the middle of nowhere. I'm most likely to become an eccentric old man publishing bizarre pseudo-philosophy

Lilmario, why do you want to live in the suburbs of Tokyo? It's still crowded and expensive, yet the commute to the center of the city is that much longer.

I want to buy a 200-year-old kyo-machiya (old-style house, usually wooden, in Kyoto), up in the northern part of town near the mountains, refurbish the inside (you'd be surprised how few Japanese people consider this; they just tear the houses down instead), and plant some trees outside and watch the snow fall on them. Yeah.

I hope to one day have the fifth freedom.

For the uninformed, this is the freedom to spy, kill, and intrude. This is usually given to covert ops of the CIA. And yes, this does exist, and Tom Clancy is a brilliant man for incorporating it into videogames.

Hmm...

Remain advanced in school, and go to the University of Madison, with a GPA of at least 3.8, and obtain a degree in pre-med. Thereon, I'll go to medical school and get a doctorate degree. I'll move back to Green Bay and become a resident and intern. After that, I'll get hired as a pediatrician, and eventually move into an upper-middle class neighborhood.

How's that?

Short term

-Finish high/vocational school and get A+,NET+, CCNA, ETC certifications

-get out more , and try not to be such an asshat

-make a sandwich

Long term

-Get a multicolor Moped

-Find some type of mid-to moderately high income job whether working with PC's or game developing (seems to be a passing fad, everyone wants to be a game developer but most wont ever get off rpgm2k). Or some job that i love to do.

Add the following to my list.

- Travel the world.
If I got the Historian job like I would love to have, I'm pretty sure I would get to travel the world somewhat. I want to be an Ancient Civilization Historian (Not sure what Civilization yet), and history is more enjoyable hands on so I'm hoping the traveling will come with the job. If not, I still plan to see the world.

- Take that 326 day hike of Europe
I saw this map of Europe on the internet with a travel route on it, and I became really interested. The hike route map says something like "Route of Europe. 326 day hike at 45 KM a day for 5 days a week." I would love to do that but I don't have the money and I'm positive I would get side tracked quite often with museums and sightseeing. Not to mention, I'll probably get lost countless times on the way...

- To be able to say the words "I love you" and truely understand what they mean

- Make love next to river bed under the stars as the sun comes up
I'm a hopeless romantic, shut the hell up.

- Wreslte a professional wrestling match
I know a wont do good and I'm small (Through, i'm 8 inches taller than Rey Mysterio. Poor little midget... I'm 5'11"). I wont get a match with any "big" fed. No TNA, ROH, MLW (are they still around?), definately no WWE. Probably wouldn't even make it in IWA. But Portland Wrestling is right across the bridge, I'm sure they would give me at least a tryout match just to humour themselves. Besides how cool would that be? Me wrestling for Portland Wrestling, the same federation that Raven, Art Barr, Roddy Piper, Sgt Slaughter, Dynamite Kid, Andre the Gaint, Bruiser Broody, Ric Flair, and Curt Henning all wrestled for at one time. Of course at the time it was a part of the NWA (NWANW) so most of those stars wrestled in main other NWA terriorites. And I'm not even sure if its a member of the NWA anymore... Or if its still called PNW...

- Write A Book or A movie Script.
My writing ability is below par but hey, who cares? I still want to.

- Start a band.
Nothing to explain

- Do missionary work in some South American Village.
My real life friend is leaving wednesday for missionary work (2 years of it...) and I'm jealous. I don't want to spread my religion, I just want to have an excuse to spend 2 years in an undeveloped village building things and helping natives.

Long Term: Finish university, with a degree in Audio and Recording Technology (MSc Hons) and work with a record company as a producer/engineer with bands, make an ASSLOAD of money, buy a farmhouse near my hometown, convert it into a studio/home. From that studio I'd like to help new bands get started, with somewhere to practice and help them cut their demo's/record albums/do freelance work for record companies. Also, I'd like to make it with a band of mine.

Short term: Buy myself a laptop and some recording gear, and get some local band's demos cut and sent of to my contacts in the industry, oh and cut my OWN band's demo tape!

Marriage: I want to marry my girlfriend when we've both finished uni and have at least 3 kids together.

Career: If my long term plan works, I'll be a Recording Engineer/Producer. If not I'll be a roadie/drum tech for bands.

Goals eh? I wonder if this place is still around 5 years down the road, how these turn out...

Career: Become self-sufficient in doing either computer programming, teaching, or using Japanese in some way

Long Term: Become fluent in Japanese, Visit Japan, possibly move to Japan

Short Term: Finish my last humanities class with a passing grade, getting a TA job for a course

Marriage: Well, I'd like to get married someday...however, just talking to my best friend everyday is more than enough right now

The only thing that I'm sure that I want to do in life is move away from Nottingham.. Though not necessarily out of the UK; I'd like to live in London at some point in my life, and maybe in Wales. I also want to stay in Sweden, America, Canada and Japan at some point too... Hmm, wishful thinking.

I don't really have much clue about any other goals in life though. Oh, apart from as a career, I'd like to do some kind of comic illustration.. But that's just a dream I suppose.
