Which 24-hour period is the "day" for this?
Is it midnight-to-midnight in the server's time, or something else? |

Yes it's midnight to midnight server wise.
For me the ACS ends (and starts) 6:00 in the morning (6:00 AM). That is very early for me. I rather don't get up before 10:00 AM.  |

Same here. Sometimes i'm not even up before 12:00.
But that only happens during weekends. Or whenever the day after is "free". |

The ACS operates on Eastern time. Adjust accordingly. 
It's the fairest way to do it, I think... No way in hell am I doing the rankings at 3 AM. |
