I'm on abboxillin, I can't tell you how much though off the top of my head. I'll be on it for 10 days total...

As for eating and drinking things, right at the moment, I LOVE Ice Cream! I eat it VERY slowly and let it slide very slowly down my throat. It's great... so soothing.

All you lucky people who don't have to have their tonsils removed! Pah to you!

I had mine removed at the tender age of 5 when the fasion was to have them removed, along with my adenoids (what the FUCK do those things do anyway?) I've since learned that the operation was a botched job, and has resulted in a thyroid (i think its that) problem (according to doctors anyway, I've no idea how it happened, but I'm not a doctor. All i know is my weight balloned in the couple of months after the operation and doctors could find no explanation for it until recently)

Anyway, the worst part about having no tonsils is that theres nothing to stop virii and bacterium entering your throat (cos thats what they do after all) and you get an abundance of sore throats, which I can tell you is a pain in the ass!

That makes perfect sense. The larger they are, the more discomfort they'd cause if you got tonsilitis I'd imagine.

Pi: Thyroid problems are surprisingly common, yet surprisingly treatable. I know of 2 people who've had them and are having them successfully treated.

A pain in the ass they may be, but it's better than having tonsilitis. An occasional sore throat, or burning, stabbing pain? I'd pick the occasional sore throat.

Arg... I hope you get better, Taryn... I had Tonsilitus when I was much younger. I think I drove my parents up the wall because at that age, all kids do is complain about it

Kellie: I know someone with a thyroid problem... He used to run miles and miles a day to keep his shape before he was treated. Bloody NHS (health system in the UK)
