| I have to get this off my chest. Tia I think wins hands down. Here's why: She is very agile. Equip her with a horse rock and another power accessory--I don't remember it's name--and she'll kick some ass. Her strength'll be near Maxim's, and she'll always get that first hit in. Her magic's decent too. Plus, she's a bit funny. I think it sucks that she was taken out of the game near the beginning in favor of Selan. Selan's strength is about the same as Tia's, and though her magic's a little better than Tia's, she is very slow. So slow, in fact, she's the last to go in battle, after the others and the enemies. (I noticed the loss immediately when Tia was taken out of my party and the relative uselessness of Selan.) Depite that, Selan is depicted as some superwoman in the story, while the much more capable Tia is depicted as an incompetent airhead who always runs off doing stupid shit. What is up with that? | |||

| Probably cause Tia IS an incompetent airhead who always runs off doing stupid shit. I never liked Tia, don't know why, but I never did. I liked Selan personally. But that's just me. |

| I'd go with Arty and Dekar. I also would like to have him inside the Ancient Cave (normally only if you finish the game twice, but not in the regular game), because his best weapon is a sword which reduces an enemy's HP by 1/2. How just think if you could fight Master Jelly in the Ancient Cave4; 5000 HPs taken off in one swing. Then having Guy with a Gades Blade (Octo Strike, eight single hits) and Maxim maybe weapons like Myth Blade (HP-1/6), combined with Artys Abbadon spell big chance to kill that beast  (edited by Surlent on 07-02-04 09:38 AM) |
