I understand the format of the 4bpp SNES except for one thing: Which byte is the highest?

It is arranged like this for each row:

bp0, bp1 ...
bp2, bp3

For row one you use bytes 0, 1, 10, and 11. For row two you use bytes 2, 3, 12, and 13. My question is, What is the order of bytes from highest to lowest?

Thanks. It seemed to take forever to get a reply to that.
