I'll get straight to it: VBA moves at a non-steady pace, as in, the rate would be 98% then 101% then 99%, Et cetera. Is there anyway I can fix this to go at a steady 100%? Or a steady 99-102%, not much of a difference. Any help appreciated |

Not that i know of, mine also stays at 99%-102%ish. It has something to do with the timing of the cpu i think. |

Don't worry about it. It's nothing to be worried about unless it's causing MAJOR problems.

Yeah ... if you're getting a smooth framerate and no instability in game speed (in the game itself), it's really nothing to worry about ... just some imprecision in the way the emulator calculates the framerate

Yeah, and the GBA itself doesn't even run at a steady pace itself. You can sometimes find this on console's that they don't run frame for frame.

At worst, just make sure that Throttle = 100% and you should be fine. Mine dips to 99% at times but it's purely cosmetic - if your system's powerful enough, it'll emulate at a constant speed. |

Normally, it's on how fast the computer itself is... like, on one comp, I tried VBA, and it was hanging around 66% the whole time. If it's anywhere around 98-102%, it's fine. Just ignore it. Play the game.

Even I get something between 98% - 100%. But as soon as it's something more intensife to be emulated, it goes down to 90% or even 80%. But don't forget that it runs on a 450MHz Pentium III with 128 Megs of RAM. |

Imoto - That should be enough to run most GBA games at full speed. I can get 250% speed... but then again, I have sound at 44KHz and everything. |

Yeah mine drops to 99% too. Don't worry about it. |
