I personally was dissapointed by the whole Mario Sunshine game itself. Past that ... But I just have one complaint for Mario 64 ... Why weren't there fire flowers!?!?! |

Super Mario Advance 4. It was really disappointing. Most new features require E-Reader. (edited by Iggy Koopa on 08-09-04 03:08 PM) |

Super Mario 64, only because I had heard from everyone how it was the best thing since slice bread. And then it was just good.

Super Mario Advance was kinda disappointing, because it was WAY too easy, and the voices were really creaky. They could have added more to the game, not meaning the helpful items like the giant plants.

Mario Kart Double Dash - I'm not trying to bash the game, but Nintendo could have kept the original gameplay into the Mario Kart series, rather than putting two players on one Kart, and only one can drive while the other uses an item. I think the older Mario Karts were better for the gameplay, though I haven't tried Mario Kart Double Dash, but I have seen it in action at a friend's house before.

Oops, I'm so sorry about the double post, the page didn't refresh properly for some odd reason, a bug perhaps? (edited by Pegasus on 03-16-04 05:29 PM) |

Hee hee, double post.... Anyway, I was disappointed in Sunshine. Where were the goombas and the koopas and the GREEN yoshi? I wasn't a mario game, it was about some guy who was on a trip that got framed for vandalism, and has to clean it up as punishment. The guy just happens to be Mario. |

Super Mario Advance 4. The shine from those new E-Reader features goes dull. Especially since they haven't made enough level cards to get all of the Ace Coins. And they still have 2 minigames to get unlocked for all of us.

Mario Kart 64, for the "Rubber Band" effect of the AI. It was fixed reasonably well in Double Dash (Which I love) but the AI still cheat with items (Which I hate)

I'd have to say Sunshine too.

Sunshine mostly. Not as many areas: larger, sure, but they just didn't have the diversity that the levels in 64 did... and making people gather a set number of Shines from each level really took away some of the open-endedness of the game. It's still a great game, but nowhere near as good as it could've been.

I'm glad I wasn't bashed for saying "Sunshine is a bad Mario game." I mean sure it may be worth 20$, but compared to most Mario titles, it's just way too different. I also have to say Double Dash myself. I like the game a lot and wouldn't mind owning it, but I think Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 are much better. |

SMA4 isn't worth it without the e-reader stuff, so I vote for it.

Ironic, I just finished Mario Sunshine today, and the idea of the Final Boss freaked me out. Do you want me to spoil it? OK, I will. You fight Bowser and Bowser Jr., in a hot tub! Naked! Horrifying! (Even though they were never much for clothes anyway, they didn't have to exploit it further )

Well I've been disapointed in all the mario games except smb, smb3, smw, and paper mario. The others were good, but I expected more.

I hate SMB2, it is really short (and it's a ripoff) |
