Eh I don't like the after taste of milk. Chocolate milk is nummy though. It tastes okay with P& J sandwhich. I like it MUCH better in cereal. Cereal is one of my favorite things . I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't know about milk anymore though. I saw on the news that it has per-chlorate in it which is a part of rocket fuel . I'm not sure if it's just California's milk or everyones.

Many of you are gonna have weak bones years down the line. XD

I love my milk. I used to drink a ton of it each day when I was a kid... definitely cut down on it. But I need it in the morning with breakfast and another 2 glasses or so during the day. And the odd glass of chocolate milk.

I need a glass or two every night before I go to bed. It's just an odd habit of mine...I don't even remember when it started. It was somewhat recently, though.

I can only drink organic milk, though...not for health reasons (though it *is* better for you), but for taste reasons. I bought my first carton out of curiosity sometime last year, and it tastes so good, I can't go back, even if it is twice as expensive. Anyone remember what baby formula tastes like? That's what most ordinary milk tastes like to me now. Yick.

That article was interesting - I never realized how ingrained milk is in our society. Anyways, I used to drink milk with almost every lunch and dinner, now I rarely drink it. But when I do, it's whole milk.

I rarely drink milk, it actually seems to leave me thirstier than I was before. Plus, I need to wash it down; the aftertaste isn't nice and it coats my mouth. I do enjoy it with cereal, or mixed with some chocolate/strawberry syrup. It also makes good ice cream.

I can drink anything from 1 or 2 to 6 cups of milk a day, depending on what I eat, and what I prefer to drink. I drink more milk during winter time, though. The average, I guess would be around 3 - 4 cups a day.

Heh, and I thought everyone drank milk like that.

That's exactly why I started drinking a lot of it recently after my teacher said something about it in Health class. Cereal makes up for that. I remember this lady who teaches some kind of exercise like areobics said that it's not good to drink a log of milk because it can clog your arteries or something like that . I doubt it. I'll drink however much I want, it's supposed to help my bones so I dont get an arched back and all that when I'm old and shrivled up.

Soy Chocolate Milk is... well...

Tastewise, it's OK. Not as good as chocolate milk but passable. The problem is that it has such a heavy texture... ugh... it takes forever to drink. I couldn't finish a SMALL glass of it.

Soy chocolate milk? I don't think I'd try it. So is soy milk the powdered kind or something? I'm not even sure

It seems that people just like to find something wrong with what we eat or drink. There was an article in the paper this morning that said perchlorate is found in milk nationwide not just in California.

i'm not sure soy milk comes in a powdered kind but if you go into any east asian type market, you are bound to find soy milk in a carton (like those juice boxes) or in really thick cans (you can't crush these cans like soda cans).

For everything you believe is okay, there is always someone who thinks it is not okay. For everything you believe in, there is someone who believes the opposite. That is the way life is and it is in our nature to question. As for perchlorate being in milk, hmm...perchlorate I believe is bad as a whole but I would like to see that article to get the whole picture before making a conclusion.

http://www.sacbee.com/content/business/story/9789545p-10712153c.html First it says nationwide but then they say they found tracies of it in water in other places besides California. It's not enough to cause people not to drink it but just enough for long term effects like in children.

My best friend, I drink a bag of milk a day. It is expensive, and one of the reasons I am portly, but god damned, I've never even fractured a bone.

Milk probably became a foe when people relized it had fat in it. I like milk, chocolate milk. I can't stand the taste of straight milk.
I think the real question here is
Soy Milk - Friend or Foe?

That is the real question. I don't really want to test it out and try it. I don't like powdered milk. I think my mom used to give it to me when I was younger because milk does = expensive.
