Do they have summer school where you live, if you're going what are you taking? When did you start and when does it end?

If you don't know it's just basically to help you with credits, give you a head start or to make up for classes towards your credits.

I'm in summer school until July 30 . We just started last week. I'm taking Drivers Ed and PE. PE will kill me this summer and the coldness of my classroom in Drivers Ed is making me turn into an icicle. She sales things but people just still the stuff too. I wouldn't. It's kinda cheap but this other guy sales stuff like a 20 oz..(I think it's that much)..of soda for a dollar and she's selling her cans of soda for 50 cents. We're in class from 8 - 11 AM and our lunch is 20 minutes long but its good that we get out at 12:55 The traffic sucks, it takes around 30 minutes to get out of there because there's only 2 ways to the school and everyone takes one. I don't know the other way or I'd use it. Yep..

I took summer school only once, and it wasn't really needed...I just wanted to get used to middle school, so I took one computer class and another class that I cannot remember now.

I took Summer School when I was an elementary kid just because there was nothing to do at home and my parents kinda made me but Summer School there was great! We usually got field trips at least once a week. It was much better than stayin home.

I took summer classes last year to try and get ahead of schedule. Considering I'm now slated to graduate in December rather than May 2005, I'd say it worked.

I had to retain my math credit for last years course over the summer. My grand-father died and the exam was schedualed on the day of his funeral, my last exam. I went to the funeral and got back into the province the next day. I go to school and have the principal yell at me for a few minutes, knowing fully what had just happened. Even though my math marks were higher the the norm in the class. I ended up getting 92% in the summer course, with hardly any work. I hate my school.

I'm not planning to go to summer school anytime soon. I am planning next summer to do all the community service I need to pass high school-- 24 hours.

I'm strongly leaning towards it. Problem is that I should have gone in May, as 90% of the classes were offered then...

I can still take a Sociology course I need. Barring a job popping up (and I'm checking one video store that's hiring this week...), that'll be what I do.

My sister was just shy of attending it, her friend that she hangs out with a lot went though.

Least I pulled the plug on her TV when I did...else she would've gone.

Ouch, none for me so far, and I plan on keeping it that way.

School for 180 days, and no more is my philosophy.

I have school this summer (for the first time), at university, and it was part of the original schedule too ... as it goes like this:

(computer science)
- Fall 2002, Winter 2003: school
- Summer 2003: work (called stage)
- Fall 2003: school
- Winter 2004: work
- Summer 2004: school
- Fall 2004: work
- Winter 2005: school
- Summer 2005: work
- Fall 2005: school (last semester)
... with only 1-2 weeks between each

It started on April 26, and will end around August 13 or 20 ... but it's the same as during fall or winter, except I'm not used to have school in July or August yet Another difference is that I got the 1 week break right before the exams instead of after, I'm in the exam period right now ...

I'll probably be taking it this year. I screwed up freashman year, and totally blew off Biology. So now I have to take summer school and make up the D I got in it.

It's kinda funny though.. I'll be taking regular ed Bio, after just getting through with Ap Chemistry.

Wow, you goto summer school for a D?

A "D" might as well be an A for some kids that goto CHS...

Heh, I know. That's why this class is going to be extremely easy, especially after AP Chem.

I took Functions 2 at college last summer. I had to do it since it's a prerequisite for Computer Science and I had only done a basic Secondary 5 math class. I might end up taking another summer course next summer, but that's only if I decide to do one of the math courses for Computer Science in University before I get to University.
