I got the IPS ready, but it has some errors in it.

And even worse, somehow my original got totaled. Unless I can unlock the rom I used to get the original IPS patch...there's no hope. Bah, even the locked version has errors...

Another hack down the drain, why is it that I can never finish any hacks?

Anyway, enjoy while it's there.

When ever I see the Chibi Moon code I always see ...it is an almostirriversible form of protection... Wouldn't that mean that there is a way to reverse it? Oh and by the way would a different SMW editor (if there is one) be able to get around the code? Just a thought of how you might be able to get back into your hack.

Well, it would have to be reversible. SMW needs to be able to decrypt the data to use it, after all. (AFAIK, the protection doesn't just set a byte or two, it also encrypts level and GFX data, so other SMW editors wouldn't be able to read it, and you'd have to do more than just change a byte to unlock it.) I think Para knows how, but you'd be better off asking Fu, he made it so he's sure to know exactly how it works.

I know it's too late to be of any help, but you should probably learn to make backups of your ROM so you have something to fall back on in case disaster strikes. I usually make a backup copy every other time I open Lunar Magic (or any time I try something new or experimental).

I send unlocked copies to friends in case my computer ever dies completely every few levels.
