| I'll join. Seeing as I took the last one. But you might want to mention that we'd be using ZSNES 1.36 (currently, since 1.40 is in development) that you have to have a semi-decent comp (300MHz CPU with a -decent- 56K connection MINIMUM). If you cannot play via router or firewall troubles, there might be problems pushing TCP/IP on a 56K...they tend to be slow, so that could lead to some premature disqualifications in this case. It's hoped that you can play with UDP enabled. Also, I'd like to know what we'd establish in terms of two-players versus. Is this going to be both of us on Lv. 1, 5, 10? Hats off to you if you don't take more than two months to get this done, you might want to make a rule that says you have two or three weeks to get a round done or else a bracket is disqualified, or a certain person who hasn't been around is DQ'd, because I remember years ago that we had problems because of inactivity. If there's nothing else, then I'd love to, I wanted to do this last year but feared that it would die or not have interest. If you want I can move this to General, up to you. Oh god, HIRYUU'S IN IT???!??!?! Damn. Well, I guess I'll join. I won't be surprised if I get knocked out in one round though.  Especially if I have to face Hiryuu...  in which case I'll last 10 seconds or less. |

| Yes, yes, yes we can have the whole rep proceeds me thing...but if I recall in the last tournament, Danicess had a very very good rep in this game and I wasn't really known in the game at all (since I was still a n00b at the time). So I wouldn't nix the option of there being a champion other than myself just yet. If anything I'm curious to see if I'm going to get unexpectedly wailed on, ya know? If anything it'll be interesting. So yea.  Maybe Ace might get into it again...he's good. |

| Heh, I join this. At least this will be a reason for playing training my skills on TA. I have some problems with being the server, and UDP never works for me. But I see if I can fix that, so people can have a faster netplay against me. |

| Well, I'm almost using a crappy machine (PII 350 w/ an ISDN connection, one channel), and Z-Net worked well ... probably my opponent didn't have a router; and I used UDP packets instead of TCP/IP. At least ISDN has a good ping despite its smallband speed @Hiryuu: We could make it either the default Lv. 5 in 2P VS, or probably making two people suggesting if even doing a match in Time Trial or VS. But this could lead to disadvantages Well, that was just the idea. The current list of people willing to play: Xkeeper - not sure yet Kirby all the way Chaosflare (?) | Ops, sorry, Kefka, almost forgot you Felix, Angel and you will be added too. About the ROM: I don't know what's the most current crc (?) version of Tetris Attack, and having offering a ROM might not be that good. If I knew how to identify a specific version of a ROM or posting the data of people playing all the time TA via the net (Hiryuu ?), it could be used here ... So you'd need to search for that spefific dump only. I have two ROMs, one is named Tetris Attack.fig and the other one is named tetris attack (u) [!].smc I used the last one when I played (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 05-24-04 01:06 PM) |

| I wouldn't mind joining the Tetris Attack tournament. While I'm not as good as people who get like 30000 points and such, I'm quite able to put up a good fight. I'm pretty sure after I beat Very Hard on Vs. without continuing... Yeah. So, if you have any more room, count me in. Though I have heard from somebody that Zbattle.net's back up. Of course, I'm not completely sure as I haven't tried for myself yet... Hopefully, my internet won't be a pain and that the tournament isn't sometimes in the next 2-3 days... I have a LOT of work this week.  |
