Any predictions?

Porto vs. Lyon

Two good teams that both could become outsiders to the trophy this year. Porto finished second in their group (after Real Madrid), and knocked out Manchester United to make it to the Quarter Finals, Lyon impressively won their group over Bayern Munich, and then beat Real Sociedad to make it to this round. Porto should be able to win in Portugal, but I think Lyon might claim the aggregate victory after their meet in France.

Milan vs. Deportivo

Title-Holders Milan is looking better than ever in the Serie A this year, but did seem to have some troubles during the group stage of the CL. An impressive 4-1 victory over Sparta at home after a draw in Prague sent Milan to the Quarter Finals. Deportivo only barely made it through the group stage, before they sent Juventus packing after two 1-0 victories. Milan should probably win, based on their form in the Serie A, but they have had some problems in this year's CL, so it is an open game.

Real Madrid vs. Monaco

Real Madrid have yet to lose in this year's CL, and they are looking as sharp as ever. Admitedly, their goal in Munich was 100% luck 0% skill, but good teams need luck. Madrid is always a favorite. Monaco beat Lokomotiv Moscow on away goals, after having emerged on top of the extremely even group C. Even though Monaco is a good team, Madrid will probably prove to be too much of a challenge.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal

Chelsea's mercenaries won the fairly easy group G, before barely beating Stuttgart in a series that almost turned out goalless. Arsenal is way ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League, but they have always had problems in the CL. Impressive feat by Arsenal beating Celta in both games, however, and thus claiming their first CL-victory on Spanish soil ever. Arsenal should be able to win this London-derby, but you can never be too sure.

Porto vs. Lyon - PORTO. They beat Celtic last year and Man U this year. That's good enough for me. Seriously, just an excellent hard working team... Lyon aren't slouches either though.

Milan vs. Deportivo - MILAN. All they have to do is get past Real Madrid and the CL is theirs for the taking this year.

Real Madrid vs. Monaco - REAL. Monaco's good, but Real's just that much better. They didn't look totally impressive against Bayern, but hopefully the team smartens up for this match.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal - CHELSEA. Please, I don't want Arsenal winning the treble.

I think the even BIGGER question is...

"WTF? Depor put FOUR past Milan and took the tie?!?"

Deportivo, Porto, Chelsea, and Monaco. Absolutely not the semi-finals I'd expect this year...
