| [Out of character - This is Round Two of the official Acmlm's Board Sim-Battle Tournament. Play shall commence following a single entrance post by each participant, and the entrance posts as well as combat itself shall proceed in the order which is described below. The date of this preliminary posting is 17 June; posting shall cease no later than 17 July. Upon completion, an impartial panel of three judges shall decide a winner. Three points are bestowed for a win, while a single point is given to the loser. In this match, the Orange Team shall match wits and steel with the Red Team. The rosters are as follows, with the poster's name listed as opposed to the name of his character: Orange Team Dracoon Boomer Lain Red Team Lord Rahl Utilityman Raku Mel Posting shall always follow this order: X1. Dracoon X2. Lord Rahl X3. Boomer X4. Utilityman X5. Lain X6. Raku Mel The tournament's current point standings follow: 1. Red Team (3 points) 1. Green Team (3 points) 3. Yellow Team (1 point) 3. Blue Team (1 point) 5. Orange Team (0 points) If 24 complete hours pass before the appropriate fighter takes action, the next (and only the next) person may continue. The fighter who failed to move shall lose his turn and shall move again only when the entire cycle has completed. Note that this match was originally scheduled to include the Red Team and the Blue Team. However, Zerodius of the Blue Team has been unable to procure two new teammates to replace his former (but now departed) partners. The Blue Team shall participate in the next round, granted that there are three members of the team. Dracoon's Orange Team is a new entry, having arrived at an opportune time to stand in for the unfortunate Zerodius. Without further delay, I declare Match Two of Round Two in the official Acmlm Board Sim-Battle Tournament underway. | OOC I believe Mithario is now Lain, but we will find out win Mithario/Lain posts. Star, the time champion, enters the arena prepared to fight with his two team mates against the other team. "How did I get picked for this. I was sure it would be Drake or Nijote." Earlier that day Dark Pheonix, Drake, Dracoonx4, Nijote, and Star had a conference about who would fight. It ended up with a straw drawing game, which Star won, or lost depending on how you look at it. "Oh well, I guess I better just try to win." Star drew his sword and readied his shield as the oncomming battle neared. |

| Rad calmly walked through the raining city, the falling rain muffling his footsteps. He made his way towards the largest building he could see, holding no weapon in his hands. As he neared the skyscrapper, he turned his head, nodded at Star, and made his way into the building, climbing floors as fast as he could. |

| The cool rain soaked Keyaki's hair as he walked through the city in his signature attire (of a red tie and nice white suit), but it did not mess up his funky dew. He sought Star, and walked in his direction, his newly bought dress shoes, getting flooded in from the water. He stopped once he reached his wet destination, and he cought sight of Rad hastily going up the floors. He looked back at his teammate and withdrew 3 of his poisen tipped darts, casually passing them them to Star. Star fumbled with the darts, and once he had hold of them, he gave Keyaki a puzzled look. "Just something for you to use, if you have the chance. It isn't a requirement, but they may prove useful." Gripping his ancient Samurai sword, Keyaki walks into a ramshackle building and takes a seat on the steps. | Rad darted by Troy as he stepped out of the stairwell access just behind him, following him up. Quickly he noticed, out of the windows that lined the wall opposite, the rain that relentlessly pounded the buildings around them. "Why does this seem SO familiar..." Already he was prepared - he held a small keychain with a lightning bolt attached to it, clenched within his fist. |

| Taffy paused at the foot of the skyscraper, ignoring the rain (for the moment) and spying her teammates already heading up the stairs. "Huh...doesn't this skyscraper have an elevator we could take instead?" she wondered. "Unless the storm's...eh. Not important." Shrugging it off, Taffy ran inside, the bracelets on both her wrists softly jangling from the movement. She started up the stairs, but hesitated a moment and cast a quick glance around her, wondering if she had missed something. |

| Rad quickly dived into a nearby hallway as Star shot up the stairs past him, and luckly was not seen. He quietly walked back to the stairs and looked up, seeing Star continue to climb the stairway. He then looked down, and noticed Taffy standing at the bottom of the stairs. Greatest power in numbers. And I have no elemental spells. Rad copied Star's form of movement of jumping from landing to landing, but headed down rather than up. He hollered, "Look out below!" to make sure he didn't land on anyone. |

| Keyaki merely watched as Star effortlessy jumped up to the top floor. Flipping his Mac-10 back into his suit pocket, Keyaki gets up with a sigh. Instead of taking the way up the stairs, as Star had recommended, Keyaki walks out to the rainy streets, going unseen into the alley by the old building. He discovers an old rusty red ladder on the side of the run-down structure, so he starts to climb up the side. The heavy rain pouring down on his face, Keyaki starts to quicken his rather slow pace. Getting tiresome of his dress shoes slipping on the poor quality ladder, Keyaki decides to make it quick just as his partner had. With a strong pull of his arms, the swordsman thrusts himself up to the roof of the building with little effort. "I wonder when the action's going to get started..." Unsheathing his trusty sword, Keyaki moves his way towards Star, scanning the area, cheacking for any attackers. He waits once he reaches Star. | "That's two." Troy strolled up, his hands held together behind his back. Already the buildup of water on the roof itself was swamping his boots. "I don't know what Rad's thinking, or where Taffy ran off to again, but I'm always up for grabs." he held out his arms, the chain in his hand vanishing. It was soon replaced by a large, gothicly carved keyblade, with jagged teeth of shining metal and a stone pair of bat wings with a hole bored through it for the handcage. |

| "I'm heading to the top floor, Rad!" Taffy shouted, noticing he was making his way down. "I don't see anyone else down here - so I'm guessing that's where everyone is. I'll see you up there!" "Besides..." she muttered to herself as she boarded a nearby elevator, "I swore to myself I wouldn't be late this time...so much for that, I guess." A short while later, she'd gone as far up as the elevator would go, and climbed the last set of stairs to get to the roof of the building. As she carefully opened the service door and stepped out into the pouring rain, Taffy silently made her weapons appear - a Keyblade in each hand, both strangely resembling electric guitars. A silver one with a pink handle, and a black one with a bright green handle - kind of ugly, actually. Finally, she thought, a chance to try out Hologram and Misfit in combat. She squished her way out into the open, not saying a word, deciding to let the others instigate the action. |

| "Hey Keyaki, I think they are on the roof. I think I will a more dramatic entrance." Star looks at the roof and prepare to break through it. Sta had heard the footstep on the roof and was almost sure they were above him. The Star jump up shield in front of him and went straight through the roof, but he forgot to move away from the hole and fell back down. "I can't believe how stupid I can be." Star said this from his back and rolled out of the way of the hole and stood up waiting. OOC Hey Rahl can you prolong your post because Boomer had to go away from three days I think this is the second day. so he will be back the day after tomarrow I think... |

| Keyaki, unlike his partner, leaps through the hole and lands on the roof...not back into the top floor. The ex-gangster spots Taffy standing there in the rain. He glares, his eyes burning into hers and says nothing. Withdrawing his look, Keyaki points at his adversary with the tip of his blade. In a strong loud voice, he speaks: "Let's get started." Finished his short speach, Keyaki fires one of his small, but deadly lasers at Taffy. Once the shot has been fired, Keyaki lowers his sword, and stays where he is, in the rain. He wants to witness how fast his foe can be. (God damn it, it looks like this battle may never get started. No one is posting! | Troy stared blankly as the beam whizzed by his face. He shook his head, giving thought for a moment to give Taffy a hand, but she seemed ready enough to defend herself. As long as Troy wasn't noticable, he may as well have made the most of it. He cast his arms out, tearing a black bundle of leather out of nowhere as he pivoted 180 degrees. With a loud flap it sheeted him, appearing like a camoflauging poncho many, many sizes too big. He stuck his blade into the air, its tip crackling with gathering electricity - meanwhile, he still kept a steady watch over his shoulder... |

| OOC 48 hours wow. I guess it is my turn. Star jumped through the hole in the roof, but this time he landed on the roof. He looked towards Troy, who was facing him, and pointed his sword towards him. "I see you use lightning too." Star ran toward Troy with his sword ready and when he got within 5 feet he jumped into the air and brought down a heavy over head slash right at Troy's head. |

| Rad quickly made his way back up the buidling, and on to the roof. However, he stayed of the sight of his opponents. Seeing Keyaki challange Taffy, Rad silently called his Keyblades to his hands and whipped Excalibur at Keyaki with a muttering of, "Strike Raid." OOC: Strike Raid: The Keyper throws a Keyblade at their target. After the Keyblade passes the point of contact, wither or not the target is actually hit, the Keyblade reappears in the Keyper's hand. At this point, the Keyper may throw it again at the same target for no mana cost. |

| Keyaki, who is always on a careful watch of his surroundings, spots the Keyblade hurtling towards him. The swordsman leaps to the left, making the attack most unseuccesful. Ignoring Taffy for the moment, Keyaki spys for where the keyblade came from, easily spotting his assailant up on the roof across from him. His right eye twitching once again, Keyaki starts to run in the direction of the structure that lie ahead. Running at a rapid pace, Keyaki then leaps into the air towards the opposite building. He straightens out his wet blade, pointing it at the keyblade sniper. A low hum starts to emmit from the blade as Keyaki keeps his target in sight. The crash of nearby Thunder stifled the sound of a frenzy of lasers, which whizzed towards Rad. The hordes of lasers had obvioulsy come from Keyakis sword, for the blade was steaming with a loud hiss. Making a perfect and quiet landing onto the flooded roof, Keyaki solemnly stands watch for any other 'surprise attacks'. | |||

| "I use lightning. I use a lot of things." Troy fell to one knee, plunging the keyblade through the concrete below as if it were butter. He leapt back as all the water around him was quickly siphoned into a dense blob at its base, stumbling back as he narrowly evaded Star's lunge. He fell backwards, but not before getting out of range. The ankle-deep water condensation tensed up around Star as the wings on the keyblade suddenly flared out. All at once, the storm seemed to intensify directly above him. "SPIRE!" Troy cast both his hands out, sending a concentrated blast of lightning down at its dampened target. |
